I’ve lived in the area and bought Panther my whole life growing up and I think the pizza still tastes great.
With that said, the consistency and quality has faltered the past few years. At first I thought it was just me getting unlucky, but then I read some of the other reviews and go “oh, it’s not just me!”
We ordered 2 pizzas, the first one a thin crust extra crispy, no crust seasonings. The second a normal crust, normal bake, with the seasonings.
Well, we got 2 identical pizzas. No difference between thick and thin, and crust toppings on both. The “thin” crust was the same bake and not extra crispy. I like the pizza, so whatever, but the folks I bought the pizza for want thin crust, etc.
In the photos, you can see the crust bake being identical (I flipped a slice of each pizza). You can also see how the toppings don’t go anywhere near the edge of the pizza, leaving a lot of bread. Some of the pieces had no pepperoni on them, some had like 2-3 on one edge and bread with no sauce or cheese on the other half of the slice.
Also the website says deals on buy 2 16″ pizzas and Krazy bread for $38, but there is no way to redeem the code or add to cart or click on the image to get the deal.
Love panther, love supporting local. But the prices going up and and quality and consistency going down (others have mentioned undercooked dough, which we’ve had on other orders) – I think I’ll wait a few years and try again.

I was watching my son play baseball at the park next door and decided to order a pizza for me and the kids. We got the deep dish pizza pie, and I’m really impressed. First bite had a nice crunch to the soft outer crust followed by a slightly sweet sauce that immediately gave way to the salty garlic cheese sprinkle on top, and then the cheese and sausage and especially the bacon (nice chunks) rounded it off. This is great! I’ve had so many deep dishes in Chicago, and I wouldn’t call it one of those. This is a great pizza pie experience, though, and I wouldn’t call order a side of sauce to dip the edge crust, which is almost like focaccia. I’m telling you…this is on point, and I highly recommend it. And I called this $1-$10 per person because, even though I winced at the $29.99 price tag, it fed me and 4 of my kids.

We used to love this place, had a bad experience a few months ago and decided to try it again tonight. The amount of sauce on the pizza makes it almost inedible. The cheese distribution (or lack thereof) is sad. The only good thing about the experience tonight was the speed of the delivery. The owner and staff are very nice and the baked goods are on point. I’m not sure what has happened to this place over the years but it’s unfortunate, the pizza just isn’t worth the money anymore.

If you’ve never has Panther Pizza, you must try it. Staff was super friendly and the food was absolutely amazing. They had free samples of the BLT stromboli, omg i cannot wait to order a whole one next time! So yummy.

Let me start by saying I was wrong! I stopped hear out of the blue. I purchased a 10″ deluxe and when I was told it was roughly 16.75 I about walked out. How is a 10″ pizza that much? I decided to go ahead with my order. So as I waited I checked out the joint and it was pretty cool…. good decor, tastefully done. I got the pizza in about 15 minutes left. After enjoying some of the pizza during my drive to my next destination I contemplated everything I just experienced….. Pizza was great, kids working there were kid’s whose parents should be very proud of, ambience was great and even the pizza box was nice and sturdy! Taking all that into account I would recommend people stop by, order your pizza/food, enjoy it and then make your decision on is it worth the money, I myself will argue yes it is because of the whole package not just the food. Great job, god bless and I will stop again when I happen to be out that way again!

We had a party of 5 and each of us ordered our own thing whether it be a pizza or a sub. My wife ordered a Mexican pizza and it came out without cheese, our waitress looked at it apologized and asked if we wanted it remade or taken off the bill. We’ll since everyone had ordered their own thing this means she has no food, so obviously she asked for it to be remade. We were told ok it will be a little bit of a wait. Ok no problem. Some time later, Oh we got busy it’s going to be a bit longer wait, hmm seems this should be a bit of a priority but OK, some more time goes by and the waitress comes back and says, sorry we don’t have time to remake your order. The food we did get was good not great and I’ve never had a restaurant acknowledg a mistake and then refuse to fix it.

Amazing food, great prices, and awesome staff!!! The wings are absolamazing and i recommend the panther wing sauce! We also got the meat pleaser and wow tons and tons of toppings!!!! Keep up the great work guys, youre doing great. Drove amost an hour just to try this place out and worth every second of the drive.

Never been disappointed with Panther Pizza untill tonight. Ordered our usual, BLT stromboli, and a stuffed crust pep, sausage, mushroom. Stuffed crust ,on point, like always. BLT no toppings on 50% of the pizza. Not sure what happened………
