They’ve changed their mode of business from combo to self-serve. You can pick from all of the dishes and pay by the pound. I think the price is around the same as before but you do get to try a little bit of every dish instead of having to pick two or three which is pretty cool. There is also a lot more variety and the seafood is the same price as all of the others. It just gives you so many more options.

Had dinner tonight, and found out that they charge by weight ($6 a pound,) and you serve yourself now. Many of the selections had empty bins, and the rest of the food was old and chewy, under the heat lamps way too long. Barely edible. Used to be my favorite cheap Chinese place, but I’ll be looking elsewhere.

So nine months later I have a sad update on the food. Many of my friends who I sent there, did not report back the same good food experience that I had when they first opened. Not sure if they changed ownership, but I just went back to try it and the food is now tasteless. Every sauce was watered down to the point of rendering the dish flavorless. Now, I got a three item of BBQ pork, Coconut Shrimp and Orange Chicken. The Orange Chicken still was ok, but the other two, not good mate. I’m not sure if the chef in the kitchen is trying to cut corners to save money, but whatever he’s doing, he’s causing the restaurant to lose customers. Sadly, based on what I just experienced, I won’t be going back anytime soon. Too bad, really.

Just as good as Panda Express! Many of the dishes I found are better! Also, choices you won’t find at Panda and they’re fire!
Super clean restaurant. Two people can eat plenty for around $20.00
I will be going back!

Worth a try. Basic Chinese food with many options to choose from.
Food taste is average compared with other typical quick Chinese food eatiers. What separates this eatier from others is many entree options they have available. Price for the food is on par with taste and what you would expect. Ample size indoor seating area. Very clean restrooms. This location also participates in those online food order platforms.
Friendly service. I recommend try it out at least once.

Noticed the grand opening sign and decided to give it a try. Very clean establishment. Food is good. Doesn’t look greasy at all. Many delicious choices to choose from. Coconut shrimp looked good. Will probably order that next time. Got the one item combo with mushroom chicken. Enjoyed every bite. Staff was friendly and hard working. Nice to see a local Chinese food takeout place here in brea and Yoruba Linda area.

Black pepper steak is awesome! Finally a good pick 3 Chinese food place in this area
Edit as of June 18th 2025. Sorry everyone, pan pans days are numbered. I guess they have new management, I saw grand opening signs . Went in to get the pick 3 for 12.99 , tons of food, perfect for feeding a family when you get 3 . But today I walk in and everything is different. In the worse way, 5.99 a pound, self serve…. why. I got 1 tray of orange chicken , beef and broccoli and noodles , 2 items …. weighs in at 19 dollars . I walked out never to walk in again . Sorry , for that price there is much much better. Pan pan was cheap and good. A great value , now the new owners are going to shut it down. Plus the food looked old, the way it’s sitting out in the open compared to behind class. Idk , north o.c has lost its Only pick 3 Chinese joint …. sad

As of writing this food is 5.99 a lb and self service. I had a late lunch about 2pm and food was fresh and plentiful. It’s really nice being able to taste multiple entrees. While the overall flavors fall into what we think of as Chinese, there was a definite difference in dish flavors that I you won’t find at Panda Express. The dinning area well lit and clean. The walls are simple, soft and welcoming tones that go well with modern LCD menus. Newly opened and for a quick lunch. You could also meet the varying tastes of a family on a budget.

Some much food for the price. The woman just keep putting more and more on the plate. I saw how much the person in front of me got so I ordered 1 item and it was to much food and I’m not a small guy. Food was tasty will be going back soon. Get place to get food and take home.

They recently switched to a self-serve style where you can choose your own food and pay by the pound. It’s a great change — especially since seafood is included at the same price as everything else! Lots of variety, very reasonable pricing, and you get to try a little bit of everything.
If you prefer the old way, you can still order individual combo plates, so there’s something for everyone. Great value overall!
