Coming from NY I have high standards for pizza and this is the only pizza in CT I want! The cheese is perfection, the sauce has great flavor and herbs in it, the crust is a great Greek style base with some chew and a nice texture. The Mediterranean shrimp were delicious and cooked just right. Not too salty or tough. The salads are fresh and have good value for the money. They include a little Italian grinder style bread as well which is nice. I will try a hero soon as I have heard they are very good too. Grinders you call them here in CT. 100% recommend, they are nice folks as well.

Did a service for the company, and after the job was done, the owner (very friendly and polite) offered refreshments and food. He prepared us one of the best meatball grinders I’ve had. Added a touch of love when I found out he prepared it with pepperoni pieces inside – never in my lifetime have I had it with them, and it was fantastically delicious . He also brought us fries and, after that, a small pepperoni pizza, which was delicious. Try the place you will not be disappointed.

Apparently this place has been open for 15 years. I never heard of it, probably cuz I never had to travel that part of Groton. I wanted pizza and first went to Pizza Palace but turns out they are closed on Mondays. Then I called Midway Pizza, turns out they are also closed on Mondays. I called Big Y pizza, and they were also closed. So, I googled pizza places on Groton. Pano’s happened to be 3 minutes away. It was delicious. Their grinders are super yummy too. Ordered a large supreme pizza, the works and a large Genoa grinder. Total was $39.00. $25 for pizza and $11 for grinder. Pizza was loaded.

Ordered $45 worth of food and tipped the driver $5. Opened the box to find what appeared to be a slice missing. I wasn’t sure if they were using smaller pans or what was going on so I called the restaurant and was nice about it and said “this is awkward but I think someone took a slice from my pizza”. She said “the driver!?” I said “I’m not sure it just showed up and it’s missing a piece”. She then yelled “that is impossible! It must have been one of your people who did it!” I was in disbelief haha…. All this drama over one missing slice. Incredibly rude people and just down right awful to deal with. You would have thought I was trying to rob them of their life savings. I would have been fine with a free slice on my account. Now you lost at the very least 5 regular customers from my household, my friends, and anyone else I tell of this experience. Ridiculous. Don’t treat your customers in such a manner.

Got a chicken cutlet grinder from there today and it was honestly the best I’ve probably ever had. As someone always in search of the best cutlet grinder I can say the one I got for lunch there today takes the cake.
