Random last minute anniversary date night since weather cancled two previous, yay ice and snow in NC! We stopped in before a few weeks ago but it was packed, so we made reservations.
The atmosphere is exceptional. Appropriate attire for the customers, no obnoxious riff-raff. Ambience was smooth the the DJ and Saxophone. Not overtly big inside, but accommodating.
Our service was exceptional! Detailed with suggestions, and pairings. Attentive and spoke Spanish with my wife!
The drinks (not pictured, forgot to snap em”) were crafted very well and tasteed of the ingridents and not toned out by alcohol.
The food was OK. The octopus could have been charred a little better. Slightly mushy and chewy. Temperature was luke-warm.
The ceviche was good, but have had better. Portion wise a little tiny. The sushi rolls were actually good, priced well for the ingridents and size.
Nothing off putting, and will be back again since the service was KEY and the atmosphere was very inviting and made for grown adults.

This is the best meal I’ve had in Charlotte. I cannot overstate how good this food and whole experience was. From the plantains and sauce, to the appetizer, to my main meal. Everyone enjoyed their meals, but I had the fettuccine and omg it is the best fettuccine I’ve ever had. In my life. It was smokey and rich and the flavor sits with you. Service was great, we had Harold and he was very attentive and helpful (also responsible for my fettuccine recommendation). We’re going to be back.

Panko Charlotte blew us away. We ordered the trilogy of ceviche, the lomo soltado, and the grilled octopus, not a single dish missed. Every bite was bright, flavorful, and the kind of good that makes you pause mid-conversation.
The service matched the food. Our server was warm, patient, and walked us through the menu since it was our first visit. The whole space has an inviting vibe: beautiful without feeling stuffy.
And the drinks? A whole experience. We tried the Cuzco and the Tunche, both packed with flavor and served in creative Peruvian-inspired designs that honestly deserve their own photoshoot.
We’ll be back. Probably sooner than we should be.

We have been waiting and very excited for Panko to open, we finally got here for our anniversary dinner and it was amazing. Great atmosphere, lively, great service by the team. The ceviche and octopus to start were so good, and we paired a nigiri with the beef tenderloin for the main. Everything was flavorful and well seasoned. We finished with the flan which was well set and delicious. The cocktail list is great and the mezcal and pisco cocktails shouldn’t be missed. Go try Panko asap!

Panko was an experience suited for NoDa. Every dish was exceptional and our waiter Harold was exceptional, talk about polite and knowledgeable about the cuisine. He never missed a beat on our table. The restaurant transitioned to an experience complete with a flute playing great DJ. I was grooving and incredibly enjoyed my dinner. My friends and I left amazed at the great experience. The Owner Luis was the cherry on top of a great dining experience. I will definitely be back.

Had a great experience with my wife here! Our server Laura and the manager Juliana were very attentive to our dietary needs and know everything about the menu and flavors. The Alfredo panko and chaufa are excellently made with detailed plating. Paired with the pineapple coconut lemonade there is a great range of flavors. Chef Felix also came to great us and explain further how they make the plates and a few of the custom salsas/marmalades. We will be back soon to try even more of the menu!

We had such a great experience here! The staff, from management to our waitress, were incredibly friendly and welcoming. Our waitress gave excellent recommendations, and every dish she suggested was a hit.
We drove 40 minutes to try this place, and it was well worth the trip. The vibe is cute, with a Dj in the front with a flashing light that adds a fun touch.
The food was great, especially the bonbon appetizer. We’ll definitely be back!

Wow, really impressed with Panko. The perfect mix of traditional and modern flavors to make this a great addition to charlotte’s food scene. Not to mention, I recognized so many familiar faces from other Charlotte restaurants – they are attracting great talent which speaks volumes.
My favorite dish was the kimchi shrimp. YOU MUST TRY!!! Also, don’t sleep on the mocktails!

The service was excellent. Isaac was out waiter and was very kind, attentive and patient since the menu was exciting. I really enjoyed the kimchi shrimp it was something very tasteful and new. My main dish, Barranquino sirloin, was a bit too salty for me but I was still able to enjoy it. It’s a very nice place and when you go make sure you ask for Isaac!
