I’ve now been to Panino’s Pizza & Grill twice, and both visits left me impressed.
On my first visit, I ordered the Tomatoes, Spinach & Ricotta slice (thin-sliced tomatoes, fresh spinach, mozzarella, and ricotta cheese), while my friend went with the classic pepperoni. Both slices were flavorful, cheesy, and cooked perfectly. The portion sizes are huge for the price two slices and two Gatorades came out to just $20, which is a great value compared to other spots in the area. At that time, the shop itself felt like it could use some updates and clearer signage, but the food easily made up for it.
When I came back for my second visit, the experience was even better. This time, I got a pepperoni slice and my friend ordered cheese. Right when we walked in, we were greeted warmly by the man working, who seemed genuinely happy to welcome every customer that came through the door. The service was quick our pizzas were cooked fast and brought out hot and fresh. I ordered two Crush sodas along with our slices, and the total came out to just $19 before tip, which felt like an amazing deal for the quality and size of the portions.
I also noticed they had updated the space since my first visit. The dining area looks much nicer now, giving it more of a sit down, dine in vibe. The atmosphere feels cleaner, brighter, and more inviting, and they even have a bathroom available for customers, which makes it more convenient if you want to stay and eat your food there instead of just grabbing it to go!
Overall, Panino’s is a great spot if you’re looking for fresh, flavorful, and generously sized pizza at an affordable price. Between the warm customer service, tasty food, and improved atmosphere, I can confidently say it’s one of the best local options for a satisfying slice. Highly recommend checking it out whether you’re a regular in the area or just passing through!
No public restroom available at this time, but I’ve visited before in afternoons and it was available.
Went back recently and the quality is not the same. It’s not nostalgia, it’s just bad pizza at good pizza prices.
I got the one with the pesto, marinara, and cheese stripes. It was my favorite other than the “bailout deal” cheese pizza. Dough was a little bitter, the toppings felt watered down almost, and there was just a lot more oil than necessary.
I’ll probably try it again next time I’m downtown to make sure, but it was just so meh/mid.
The owner or employee their is friendly too
