1. One person ordered the gnocchi gluten sensitive shrimp scampi. She reported it was tasty but was served with garlic gluten bread. (Not bright folks)
2. One person ordered the gluten sensitive Sicilian pizza with Alfredo sauce vs pizza sauce. She reported that was loaded with grease (see photos), chewy dry crust and there was no Alfredo sauce to be found.
3. One person ordered build your own pasta (didn’t need gluten free) he got the penne with tomato sauce and meatballs. He reported the meatballs were flavorful but the pasta/sauce was way under seasoned.
We waited a full 30 minutes for our food and had to flag down the ONE waitress for the whole restaurant on a Sunday at noon to refill our drinks. Her body language and fascial expression communicated irritation.
When done eating we had to find her and flag her again.
We won’t be back – this was a poor experience.
Be warned though, the dessert we ordered (cheesecake $6/slice) was extremely small!
Not worth $6 (about a fingers width wide)
And when we questioned the waitress about it, she was rude and dismissive.
Kind of dampened an otherwise great lunch.
Typically when you go to any Italian spot the portions are enough to share, but these were disappointingly small. We tried 3 different types of pasta dishes. The flavors of all 3 were quite similar. This shrimp dish was $20 and the portion size was just so sad. All in all, it’s probably 50 cents worth of noodles and a scoop of sauce with 9 shrimp. We spent $70+ (including tip) for 3 small dishes.. There are MANY other spots you should check in town that are better that give you much more bang for your buck.
The breaded chicken tasted like it was cooked a little bit too long. And they forgot our breadsticks all together.
A very very disappointing experience.
It happened to be a very busy night, yet we had incredible service.
Our server, Quinn, was so sweet and very appropriate. She did a great job serving us. She was attentive and thorough. The Host did a great job too even in a highly stressful moment. He was kind and pleasant.
The food was really good too! My appetizer was as big as a normal meal. Everything was very tasty!
It was a little pricey, but I would still highly recommend Panino’s!!
$12 for what looks like a kid’s mac & cheese
$15 for very visibly burnt chicken
I hope it’s just one of those nights.
