To say, I’m highly disappointed is an understatement. I have been a fan of Panini Bistro of Spotswood since they opened a few years ago.Even moving further away over the past two years I still go back time and time again for their chicken soup. When I’m sick, it’s my go to. When my kids are sick, I swear It cures all. Honestly, it is as my only craving my last pregnancy…I ordered constantly. I love that it doesn’t come with noodles because they can get overcooked, so I just add my own. Always robust with chicken, lots of carrots and the broth Is amazing. It always feels super homemade.
Being that I’ve been sick for a few days, I made a special trip out of my way on my way home to get it. I ordered 2 larges. I paid $20 for soup missing all over the ingredients. I’ve had canned soup with more flavor and chicken. A few tiny pieces is all I could find in both containers. I don’t know who decided to change the recipe. Looks like everything is more commercial and rebranded… now even advertising soup sizes and options, this is definitely not what I paid for. I don’t think I will be back.

A very unassuming location, but delicious sandwiches. The bread is amazing. The Cuban or the turkey mozzarella… Hard to pick which is better. Enjoy yourself and stop here.

I’ve gotten food from Panini numerous times & never been disappointed. They make the best sandwiches . I ordered a turkey, roast beef & provolone cheese w/LTO & oil/ vinegar. They never drown the sandwich with oil & vinegar. The bread Is delicious and always fresh. I also got sweet potato fries, which are the best I’ve ever had, they are thicker then most out there. The prices are alittle high but completely worth the sandwich you recieve. There was so much turkey, roast beef & cheese on the roll that I could of made a second sandwich if I wanted. The employees seem to take pride in what they do & frankly you don’t get service like that anymore. I’ve worked in the food service industry for many years & you have to love what you do to put out food like this. Making a great sandwich is diffently a talented & Panini has it. It doesn’t hurt that they put their customers first. I highly recommend this place if you want great food & friendly service.

Panani Bistro is a hidden gem! If you’re looking for comfort food done right, this is the place. Their soups are always fresh, flavorful, and perfect for any season—especially the tomato basil and chicken noodle, which are both rich and satisfying.
The mozzarella sticks are a must-try—crispy on the outside, perfectly gooey on the inside, and served with a tasty marinara sauce. You can tell they’re made with care, not the frozen kind you get elsewhere.
And the sandwiches? Absolutely delicious. Whether you go for a classic panini or something more unique, the bread is always toasted just right, and the ingredients taste fresh and high-quality.
Great service, cozy atmosphere, and food that hits the spot every time. Highly recommend!

This is a take out only neighborhood gem. You can go wrong with anything on the menu. The Cuban is great. Cheese steak yum. Truffle fries more please. And I even stop by on the way home to a loaf of bread or a piece of coffee cake. Big thumbs up!

Wow!! Panini Bistro is top notch, the food is amazing and the employees are so polite. My wife and I always make sure we stop in for food when we visit in Spotswood. My go-to panini is the chicken pesto (P8) with some sweet potato fries. You will not be disappointed!

In my past experience this place was awesome easily 5/5. But over time they raised prices in certain selections and removed common items from orders. Soups are smaller than ever in portion sizes and cost $7 now. Not to mention I do not get bread with the soup as they used give for free when you ordered soup. Quality is there but affordability is not. If you are looking for a quick lunch you should not treat this place as a regular go to spot. You will spend nearly $30 on a combo for one person. I wish I could order from here more often but can’t justify spending nearly double of what I did prior year for the same order. These small hidden increases do not benefit your customers long term. The staff is awesome and the food is great otherwise.
