Place to go when in Newport. Located in the Nye Beach shopping area, this bakery has the best croissants anywhere bar none. Hard to describe the extra deep, rich texture, but you won’t be disappointed. Get there early if you want to snag a chocolate chip flavor. Coffee is amazing as well.

Panini’s is just as good as our previous visit years ago. Today my husband and I had the eggplant sandwich and the portabella mushroom sandwich, each on focaccia bread. The sandwiches were so big we ate half, saving the rest for lunch tomorrow and allowing us to eat part of a double chocolate cupcake. Amazing food, can’t go wrong with any on the breads.
