Really liked this place. Look for Lalo while you’re there. He’s a member of the founding family and will give you samples proudly. Their mole is delicious. Try walking out with only a half dozen pastries…I don’t think that’s possible! Enjoy!

If you’re looking for the perfect cake for any occasion, I highly recommend Panificadora Bakery in Costa Mesa! This is the only place we go for our son’s special occasion cakes, especially their tres leches—his absolute favorite! I truly believe tres leches is their specialty. The cakes are always incredibly moist, fresh, and full of flavor. The staff is friendly and always willing to customize your order to make it just right. You won’t be disappointed!
