I’m sitting in the café Paneterie, on Clematis St., enjoying cappuccino, a chocolate almond croissant and a perfect vantage point to watch people wandering through the Saturday market. The croissant was a wonderful combination of flakiness and tender inside with enough of the chocolate almond flavour without being overly sweet. The coffee…fabulous…the service…exceptional. Highly recommend.

A friend of mine took me here for an authentic French lunch. The staff were very nice especially one of the chefs that made our lunch. She was awesome. The desserts are unbelievable and I had a chicken salad sandwich on a croissant which was also excellent. I highly recommend.

If you want to eat delicious authentic French croissants, breakfast and pastry that’s the place to be. Also the coffee is so delicious. The owners are so nice and attentive. Felt like sitting in a little cafe in France.

I stumbled on this restaurant a couple of weeks ago because I wanted a quick to go sandwich. I did not expect what I got-my sandwich was absolutely fantastic! I returned the following week to see if it was a fluke-it wasn’t. This time I added a pastry to the order. I swear I’m back in France. The owner and staff are very friendly and loves dogs. This will be my weekly ’go to’ spot! Will post photos next time.
