So I guess some restaurants are fighting inflation by making the quality of their products lower. Panera’s chicken rice soup used to be one of my favorites, and it was a fairly reasonable deal for the price. Now there’s a minuscule amount of chicken, not as many vegetables and not even as much rice. If their staff was sharper I might understand, but when I ordered a bowl of soup they gave me a cup, and I didn’t have enough time to argue about it.

The staff was so nice!! <33 Great food, we love panera! The sandwiches were filled nicely with great portions. The soup was nice and hot and yummy. I also highly recommend joining the sip club too, its definitely worth it!!

I get things get busy. Thats why I placed an online order for a Bagel and cream cheese. Came in and there was 1 person ordering. And they still made me wait for 20 minutes… A bagel and cream cheese… to top it off, when the lady gave it to me she asked if I would like for them to warm it up for me.. LoL.

Normally I have a good experience here. Lately, they have been hiring people who do not want to work. When placing an order, unnamed female employee, seemed bored, did not speak clearly nor make eye contact. I Felt like I was an inconvenience to her. If the manager wants to reach out I can give you employee name. I get enough attitude from the wife and screaming kids. I come here to get away and enjoy a bit of peace without being judged for being disabled vet.

This was my second time at a Panera ever. I wanted to try the broccoli cheddar soup, but they were out & also out of bread bowls. So, I chose my second choice, which was the Mexican street corn chowder, which was good. The kid’s Mac N Cheese was a good helping for a kid. The orange scone I really appreciated as it was nicely glazed & not dry. The chocolate croissant was also tasty. The frozen lemonade hit the spot on a hot day. Hopefully they will have broccoli cheddar soup next time. Establishment was clean.

A good version of the Panera formula in a nice location in Gig Harbor. Ordered food with the app and it was ready to pick up as expected. Only slight downside is restrooms not super clean and needing some plumbing repair.

I went to the gig harbor location on 07/28/25. My wife and I have been going there a lot for breakfast. What it worries me is the service and quality of food. There was no coffee or creamer available, when ask the girl at the counter about it, she rolled her eyes at me and told me it was gonna be a while until she can get some, really?. Then I asked for 2 mugs because we were dining in, she also looked annoyed about my request, she had one under the counter and asked me if I was sure I want 2 mugs, I said yes please, I could feel her eyes rolling at my request. What happened to have coffee ready every hour like it was at the beginning. Or checking once in a while when coffee gets low to make more. I also ordered the souffle which used to be my favorite because I could taste it was freshly baked, now it is heated on the microwave, the taste its also way different, the “egg” used was lumpy, tasted fake like that powder crap. I know trying to save $ in cost, but changes that drastic on a good thing it’s dumb. Go back to basics, is just that simple

I really like how healthy the food is. Always fresh and fast. I really like ordering through the app and picking up in store. I have my favorite items for lunch and breakfast. My favorite drink here is the papaya green tea. The Mac n cheese is extremely good. I would recommend Panera to all my friends. Also you can earn rewards with an account.
