If you’re going to make people food they can’t eat, be willing to take responsibility. My employee ordered lunch via Doordash, and this is what they got. As you can see, that’s not Broccoli Cheese. That’s chili. They can’t eat meat. It makes them physically ill. But because the error isn’t Doordash’s, they refuse to give a refund. And because it was ordered through Doordash, this location is refusing to refund. So my poor employee not only is paying for something they can’t eat, I had to send them home early so they could actually get something they can eat. So now both businesses can enjoy the negative review. Don’t order from here. Unless you enjoy paying $10.50 for a teensy cup of soup you can’t eat, apparently.

Stellar customer service!! I came into the store on 2/2/2026 with an urgent catering order for later that same day and everyone I encountered there was so kind and so helpful. I will return on that merit alone. The food was great! Same Panera food experience I always get. Huge thank you to everyone there that day who made my work day less stressful.

I’m new to the area. I was looking for a place to get some soup and I saw Panera with low rating, I said, what can be so bad at a Panera causing this many low rating?
I visited this location multiple times in a row for a couple of days in the past week. Each time I interacted with the associates, they were smiling, kind, and friendly. I can’t say the same thing for the lady who looked like the manager, I think she needs to calm and smile more, but the employees were doing great. Anyways, everything I ordered except the chipotle chicken avocado sandwich were great. They did a pretty good job. Chipotle chicken avocado sandwich was also good, but since it is my favorite and since I ate it hundreds of times before, I know it was missing something but couldn’t tell what.
Anyways, that isn’t an enough reason to lower my rating.
Only thing I was unhappy about in this place was that possibly due to lack of competition, their prices are at California level. They need to be lower, realistically these prices don’t make sense for Medford market. I use the app to order anything I order so I usually get deals or rewards, but if I were to order without any deals I would probably skip the place most of the times as its pretty easy to go over $20 per person, while at any other Medford-like market I visited I would stay under $20 for the same things I ordered.
Hope this helps for the Franchise owner to adjust it.

We went to dinner Saturday night 5/18/ 24. The place was pretty much empty except for one person. The place was absolutely filthy including the bathrooms with a count of eight employees that I saw. Not understanding $45 for a meal which consisted of two simple sandwiches a side and cookies that were half off with the meal. I have to go and get the food myself, clean up my table before I can sit at it and then bus my own table when I’m done. This is an absolute joke for a restaurant. There’s no reason why the place couldn’t have been cleaned. If they’re going to be charging this much for a meal there should be some value in it. I need to clean my hands after I had to clean my table before I ate and after washing my hands. The sink was filthy, the automatic paper towel dispenser automatically spits out paper into an overly full trash can so it’s already dirty before you can touch it. The sandwiches were good, the macaroni and cheese was watery and bland and the cookies were good. Overall meal was definitely not worth $55. Doesn’t make any sense to have the restaurant looking like this and treat people this way with that many employees standing around just chatting.

Paid $15 for a cheese steak ciabatta that was probably the worst cheese steak I’ve ever had. Criminally small amount of flavorless steak, zero sauce, and trace amounts of cheese. Sandwich was about 75-80% bread it was hard to even eat without choking. Honestly them charging as much as they do for this is outrageous but if it was actually decent I’d keep my mouth shut. As it was I feel they need to be publicly shamed. Never again.

I try to leave good reviews for places but I have to say my order today was very disappointing. I ordered a Mediterranean sandwich. When I went to pick it up, there was no one paying attention. One was tinkering with the drink machine and the others were servicing the drive through. So i asked for my order, waited a bit, got it, opened my sandwich and they had not cut through all the way so I couldn’t easily split it. I was sharing so now I had to get up and request a knife once again no one paying attention to the in-store customers. The sandwich itself was “meh” as in mediocre.

Will be contacting corporate, but felt the need to share with other so they can know what to expect by coming here.

Despite the atrocious prices and ridiculously small portions, this is specifically about our service today.

We were not greeted by the manager who took our order, we were given 3 of our 4 items, coffee was filled about 60%, food was cold. They decided to use old,mushy bananas in my daughter yogurt and then rolled their eyes when I asked for a spoon for it.

Like, seriously, close this place down. These people are disgusting, rude, and should all be promoted to customer with their terrible attitude.

Edit as of 6/11/25: I personally love Panera despite being way overpriced for what you get but my most recent couple experiences have been super lacking once again. It must just be this location. First time I ordered a salad with extra dressing for pickup and received zero dressing. Most recently I ordered the chicken salad sandwich and the amount of chicken salad on this sandwich is ridiculous. Literally 1/3 of the bread didn’t even come with any topping but I’m expected to pay $10 for that? See pics for reference. At least try to spread it out so I can pretend there’s some filling in my sandwich lmao.

I went in with my boyfriend on a Monday night around 7:30. Posted hours show they close at 9pm on Mondays. Half the tables already had chairs put up on the tables which is not welcoming or inviting even for takeout. We planned to eat there but the environment was so cold and uninviting that we opted for takeout. I ordered a cinnamon roll, Mac and cheese, and a caprese sandwich without lettuce. We were the only people in there and still waited around 15 minutes for that. The bag did not have a cinnamon roll in it so I asked the guy at the pickup counter and he seemed annoyed and rudely asked if I placed the order at the front counter, which I did and it was even on the receipt that the same guy literally just handed me on the bag of food. When I got home and checked my caprese sandwich, it was literally just tomato, garlic aioli, and some mozzarella. No basil and no balsamic glaze as advertised. While it tasted fine, it was missing literally half of the ingredients?? Overall this place is slow, unwelcoming, and the staff is very off putting between the rude/confrontational comments/questions from the seemingly incompetent staff and the empty environment that looks like it’s intentionally set up to invite people to leave long before closing. Overall unpleasant experience and it saddens me to see a place SO dead right in the middle of dinner hours.
