I usually don’t mind the long wait, however I do mind when I pay $30 to get maybe $10 of food that was somebody else’s order, not to mention being so late I couldn’t just go back and ask if they’d make it right, they would be closed. How convenient.. thanks for making sure my child didn’t get their food and my family is hungry, funny how a Cesar salad doesn’t feed 3 people.

I’ve been eating Panera for years. I moved here from the Midwest & was happy to see that Panera had a location in Springfield. I am writing this review because of the person at the Drive Thru, I think their name may have been Morgan. They are absolutely stellar at providing quality customer service. I was very impressed with how attentive, friendly, & polite they were while speaking with me & taking my order! When you hired them, you made an excellent choice. Best customer service I’ve received at a drive thru in many years! They were so awesome I didn’t even care that they had run out of tomatoes for my sandwich. They deserve a raise! 5 Stars! 🙂

Portions here have gotten absurd. This LARGE soup, 1/2 a salad, 1/2 a sandwich, and LARGE Mac and cheese cost me $35 dollars.

We ordered off DoorDash, we got our food and one of our sandwiches was much smaller than it should’ve been. We called the store and they we so understanding and nice, EXCELLENT customer service! They delivered the second sandwich themselves and even threw in some chips and cookies without us even asking. This was an excellent experience with this store and the customer service we received was very much appreciated.

This was the perfect stop after a long drive on a Memorial day weekend. The restaurant was very clean and quiet & the sandwiches are very tasty and filling. Also, I was pleased of how helpful the manager on duty and his staff were helpful & kind in getting me the special service I needed for the day.

They are out of bread. Even plain bagels. They offered to put our sandwich on sweet bagels. I almost left but decided to get a salad. I asked when they got their next shipment & it was last night. But no bread. Huh, odd. Panera bread is out of bread.

Unfortunately I don’t see this location lasting much longer. They blame absolutely everything on short staffing however I never see less than 5 employees in their kitchen and 2 more at the registers. The wait times are terrible but have come to be expected. My biggest issue is the inability to exit the drive thru when 80% of the time they are out of at least one of my usual items. And it’s usually bread or soup! They also mess up my order 100% of the time. I don’t understand why they ask if you would like bread, chips or an apple when they’re going to give you chips regardless. The sandwiches have also gone downhill. It’s all bread and for the price it’s just not worth it. Lastly the staff is just plain disrespectful. They practically throw your food at you and slam the window in your face. You can see on their faces that you are an annoyance versus a paying customer. I believe it’s the generation they have working. I’m assuming it’s the franchise owner/manager’s, teenager’s buddies. It’s just a shame. This place could gross so much more each month but it just falls short on every aspect. Their landscaping is great. Too bad it can’t sell me a sandwich. It has more personality than the employees.

Been loving Panera Bread as an eatery, since my Son worked there, back in NJ, when he was in HS! Today, here living back home in OR, my dining partner & I had pepperoni flatbread pizza. It was just as I expected, truly excellent. I have never had a bad menu item or a bad pastry or a bad bagel here. If I was a monetarily rich Woman & didn’t enjoy cooking so much, I would undoubtedly eat here everyday. Shhhhhhh, don’t tell on me!
