I got chicken noodle soup with a French baguette and a side of Mac and cheese.

This was my first time ever trying Panera and I was pleasantly surprised. The soup was so flavorful and hot. And the Mac and cheese wasn’t what I was expecting, but it’s a good thing because it was delicious. I’m also sick and tend to get picky with my Mac and cheese so it could’ve been better than I thought. But everything was amazing and truth be told, I am excited to try more food off their menu.

Is this for real? The new “Ham and Cheese Benny”, $6.99 for this? The .25c piece (Quarter) is for size comparison. The “croissant” was paper thin and fell apart 1/4 of the way through. The TWO bites I HAD tasted good. Yeah, nope.

I love this store. Always clean, happy employees and good food. I love that they are always running promotions. With so many restaurants competing for customers, I am always looking for good food with a Promo. Get the App if you don’t have it. A special shout out to Emily! She is a bright light every time I come in. Always smiling, cheerful and there to elevate all. Keep up the great work, it’s making a difference!

Panera just isn’t worth it anymore. We got a half sandwich, a half salad and a soup. The salad had 3 thin slices of chicken and three slices of cucumber. It was tiny and pathetic and cost over $7. The sandwich had no condiments at all, despite being told it would have a “house” sauce on it; completely bone dry. The soup was fine but their cups of soup seem to have gotten smaller. All of these items were over $7. It’s just too expensive for such low quality.

I went to Panera craving a good grilled cheese and tomato soup. I’ve never been impressed in the past, but figured it was hard to mess up something this basic. Apparently, I was wrong.
The grilled cheese used some flavorless, plastic-tasting American cheese. Kraft or Velveeta would’ve been better, which is not a compliment. The tomato soup was just as bland. Campbell’s from a can would have beaten it easily.
Grilled cheese, a bowl of soup, and a small fountain drink came out to over $18. Completely unjustified. I won’t be back.

Food was tasty but not quick. Atmosphere was lacking and many tables were dirty. Impersonal environment. Ordering was completed at a kiosk, and food was sitting on a counter when ready. Wasn’t even sure I was picking up the right food. Plenty of parking available and restrooms were clean

I came in this morning for a bowl of soup with my 3 year old son. When we were sitting at the booth my wiggly boy slipped and hit his cheek really hard on the edge of the table. He cried and cried as I held him in my arms. As I was consoling him, a woman came up to the table and started talking to him, she didnt initially realize that he was crying because he got hurt but had just thought that he was having a rough go as little ones sometimes do. She saw a mother alone with her wailing child and took the time to act as loving people do and step up to help with kindness. She was so gentle and sweet, asking him questions about himself to distrac him from being upset, it was clear that she had done this many times before with her own children and grandchildren and perhaps other peoples children as well, she was all the wonderful things that you hope that moms and grandmas are, and she didn’t save those wonderful things just for her own family, she took the time to notice and share them with a stranger too. Thank you Cindy, for your genuine heartfelt kindness. For taking a moment to be more than an employee, for noticing and not ignoring, for making me feel seen and for cheering up my sweet boy when he was feeling so sad and down. You are a wonderful woman and I pray that Gods blessings unfold on you and that you are always met with the kindness that you give. God bless you.

(First time customers) Since bread is in the title, let’s start there: the bread the sandwiches were on was good. The baguette is not knife friendly, so be careful if you go that route. The croutons on caesar salad were made of baguette–too hard to bite or stick a fork in.

We ordered the family feast. We had one special request, which was ignored. The steak and white cheddar was enjoyed, but was not impressed with size for the cost. I had the BLT roast turkey avocado: had a minimal amount of turkey, chewy bacon with hard edges, but a redeeming quality in the tomato and avocado. The turkey sandwich was okay, except the tomato and small size. Three of the people who ate the chicken noodle soup said it wasn’t bad, but it wasn’t to their liking; one described it as chewy.

Will we be back? Maybe to try the pastries, but not for a family meal. We understand they are half sandwiches, but without a satisfying soup/ salad to complete it, it didn’t feel worth it.

Panera used yo be my favorite but not so much anymore.
Portions get smaller and flavor has been changed.
