Our visit to Panera was okay. The standout was the orange scone I had which is one of the best things I’ve ever put in my mouth. The worst thing, probably the most disgusting public restroom I’ve been in ever. And they even have a combo lock on the door? Are they locking the dirt in? Rest of the visit/food were okay.

I’ve been a loyal Panera customer for years across multiple states and have been a Sip Club member for a long time. Unfortunately, my experience today at the 15th Street Tulsa location was very disappointing.

I ordered my coffee at the kiosk, as I’ve done for years, and went to the pickup area to grab my cup—something I’ve done at this same location many times. The staff member working the pickup area was extremely rude when I gave her the name on my order and explained I just needed a large hot cup. She seemed frustrated that I even asked and told me I had to get it from the cashier instead.

I then had to wait in line a second time, even though I had already waited at the kiosk. When I finally reached the cashier, she seemed confused about which cup to give me and why she was doing it. When I asked whether this was a new policy (because of how rude the other staff member had been), she told me it had been standard procedure since she started working there. If that’s the case, why was she confused that I needed a cup from her?

Overall, the experience was frustrating and unwelcoming. I’ve always enjoyed Panera, but I’ll be choosing another location for my coffee and meetings going forward.

Update
At times I still need to visit this location and it is still my last favorite, yet tolerable once you realize they operate differently than all other locations and changing the process throws me off. Staff friendliness varies depending on who is working but has improved.

I haven’t been to this location in years, but I was on the verge of Hangry. I ordered the breakfast chipotle, chicken egg sandwich and it did not disappoint. It was delicious. The service was prompt and courteous. Definitely go back soon.

The customer service is terrible the cashiers demeanor towards black customers are extremely timid and scary acting for no reason they act as if there not aware of there job and confused to help! There’s alot black people that live in Tulsa near the area & they come to this location all the time! If the employees are afraid to help black customers customers they need to find another job because customers service includes helping every race proudly as an equal ! Also I never have any napkins in my bag also they claim your order isn’t ready when it’s states the order is ready on the app & your email! Lastly they need to recheck the bags before sealing it my French baguette was missing! customer service is 0/10 when approaching black customers please work on that!

needs a drive thru or better pickup options. lobby is always extremely crowded, you can place a pickup order and still have to sit in the line for 20 minutes just to get it. even with the sip club ipads…. wait in line forever just to get the cup.

I love this place for many reasons but mostly because their food is fresh and delicious consistently. I ate the last time on Cherry Street. The restaurant was so clean, the staff and manager was so friendly and helpful. I’m sure others may have had a less impressive experience, but 8ve never had one at all locations in Tulsa. Great job guys!

So January 26, I ordered 2 coffees and a cup of soup. I wasn’t feeling well, so I didnt try to eat til the 27th. When my soup arrived it was undercooked, so as I was getting ready to warm it up, I pulled out pieces of the plastic bag that the soup come out of. Unacceptable!! I always order soup from here, but not any more. Please be careful, that cup could have went to a child. It could of ended different if I wasn’t paying attention.
