Panera is a St. Louis based bakery and cafe that has done quite well in the OKC area having opened quite a few branches including this spot on South Bryant Ave. in Edmond. They have a large indoor seating area, opening hours are 6am to 9pm (Mon to Sat), 7am to 8pm (Sun).
You can order online for pick-up, use the self-order machines inside Panera or just order at the counter. They have a nice bakery counter with a good selection of traditional bread, pastry and breakfast items. I like their cinnamon rolls and scones. You can order healthy and traditional cooked breakfast items as well if you prefer a proper sit down meal instead.

I come here often to work on paperwork. It is a calm atmosphere with plenty of private space.
The staff have always been very kind.
Tonight, as I sit here writing, I just overheard a manager call the staff together with the sole purpose of thanking them for how hard they were working. She then came out to check on team members who were cleaning.
I could hear all of them saying kind things to each other…..
That…. impressed me.
Taking time to show kindness means more to me than anything else.
It’s been a hard day… with some much “unkind” news all around me.
To hear that … unprotected kindness…. felt good. Thank you

The cashier Grace is always friendly, professional, and fast to take our order.
We visited for dinner when they weren’t busy. Parking at this location is limited and tight quarters.
The half sandwich half Mac and cheese felt like a snack and isn’t worth the price. Our meals came out room temperature.
Everything tasted good and the atmosphere is cozy. The chili tasted like it was from a can.

Food and service at this location has always been decent when we have visited in person, the only bad thing about this location is their parking lot. It is a circus trying to park or access the drive through due to just how busy the parking lot can become.
Dishes we would recommend are the Fuji Apple Chicken Salad, Autumn Squash Soup, and the Broccoli Cheddar Soup in a Bread Bowl. Unfortunately they discontinued the Steak and White Cheddar Sandwich this year which was my wife’s favorite but she seems to have figured out how to customize another sandwich on the menu to pretty much recreate her favorite.
Panera Bread baguettes are always hard and a little on the firm side but my wife still seems to always enjoy them. Their other side option with a meal is a small bag of potato chips. Now their chips due have good flavor but are some of the hardest nonstale potato chips you will find anywhere, it’s actually impressive just how hard the chips can be and not be stale at the same time.

Family was shopping, I was able to swing by for an iced tea from the Sips Club. This was an easy location for in/out access. I didn’t notice it had a drive thru until after I had already gone in the store.

Our family has enjoyed Panera for a good while. The food is quite good, which we obviously enjoy. I’ve noticed lately that this location has been very ineffective at handling orders (at least at dinner time). I placed orders online and don’t show up early, but I spend a good 15+ minutes waiting for my food still. It’s certainly enough to dissuade us from frequent visits at the very least. This plagues both indoor and outdoor pickup.

I mean seriously who would let something that looks like this leave the store? A grill cheese sandwich shouldn’t be that complicated. Also my chicken noodle soup was basically a cup of broth. No chicken and 2 noodles.

The food was horrible. The portions were tiny. The food was overpriced and tasted less than fresh. Couldn’t even give me a receipt and im pretty sure they ripped me off. I only got two half sandwiches and a small soda and got charged $33.
