I ordered the Goddess Salad, which I’ve had before and loved, but this time the avocado was clearly overripe and starting to spoil (dark, mushy, brown). When I politely asked for a replacement, I was told all the avocados were like that.

If an ingredient isn’t fresh, it shouldn’t be served, especially when it’s a key part of the dish and customers are paying full price. The salad also didn’t taste the same as before. Very disappointing experience, though the cashier was kind.

“So They can’t warm My bread a girl just wants hot bread they said no and if you look on the poster, it says most of all food should taste great and be made the way you like it, but they didn’t make my bread hot so definitely not the way I like it. I’m pretty mad that ruined my day.” -reviewed by an 11 year old

Who’s the genius putting the core hard bit of the lettuce in the salads?
I’ve been eating here for lunch for almost a year and it never fails, are yall using it to make it look more full or do you genuinely think people eat this part?

I’ve been a loyal Panera Bread customer for over five years, enjoying their food regularly while living in California. Since moving to NWA in February 2024, I’ve continued my routine of eating at Panera at least once a week. However, the Walton location in Bentonville has been a huge disappointment.

At first, I noticed the bread wasn’t the same quality as what I was used to in California, but my wife and I let it slide. Unfortunately, in the past month, the quality has gone from bad to worse. Most recently, we ordered two sandwiches at $9.59 each—only to receive one made of nothing but two tiny end pieces and another that was completely burned. This wasn’t an isolated incident. This was the third time in just two months that we’ve had serious quality issues.

Frustrated, I went to the store to show them the sandwiches, expecting a solution. Instead, the manager barely acknowledged the issue, simply processing a refund and sending me on my way. No apology, no effort to fix the problem, no attempt to make things right—just a refund, as if that erases the repeated disappointment. A good manager should know how to resolve a customer’s concerns, not just hand out money and hope they go away.

Panera isn’t cheap. For the prices they charge, customers deserve better than carelessly made food and indifferent management. After giving this location more than enough chances, my wife and I are officially done. It’s clear that quality and customer service are no longer a priority here. I truly hope someone in corporate takes notice before more loyal customers walk away for good.

Typical Panera. Camped out for almost 2 hours waiting for another venue to open. Could be a tad cleaner.

I’ve always loved Panera, but this was just horrible. The place was absolutely disgusting, trash was everywhere, food was on the walls, and tables were all dirty to the point I didn’t sit down. My lettuce was also brown and the cookie was so dry I hit it on the table and it didn’t break.

The service was horrible. That man walked up to the counter without saying a word. I said I need a second and he didn’t even respond. I took about 20 seconds and he asked if I was ready in a rude and half asleep voice.

I would not recommend this place at all. I feel bad for the owner.

I did not expect the Fuji apple salad to have dried apples instead of fresh, especially since I got a fresh apple as my side. Fresh is so much healthier.

This place isn’t it. $17 for a bowl of Mac and cheese and a drink? Apparently their prices have doubled over the last couple of years but there’s nothing particularly good or unique on the menu and it’s all more expensive than almost anywhere else. For the prices, you would expect gourmet food not frozen and reheated.

Also, pretty rude staff. When I placed my buzzer on the counter to pick up my food they corrected where I had placed it instead of just picking it up and putting in their designated spot that isn’t even visible from where I was standing. Truly horrible location.

Terrible experience at this location. First of all location is dirty, second when i approached the counter to order i saw a box literally on the floor and the bread was inside. However, I ordered a sandwich for dine in. First my name was not called so the sandwich was sitting on the counter and got cold. Second when i felt too much time passed and went to check i find my sandwich on the counter top and the top bun of my sandwich fell off and was sitting on the counter top near my plate. I talk to the lady making the sandwiches and told her that it was not me who made the top bun fall over the counter top. Especially since bottom of plates and bags touch that area, i expected her to make me a new one or apologize or something. Instead she tells me “yeah you can pick it up and take it”. Very unprofessional and rude. Will not go back to this location. This happened on Monday Dec 1 2025 around 7:00 pm.
Hoping the review team see my review and check their cameras to see how people are being treated at this facility.

We have been sip club members for a long time so travel to every Panera Bread in an area. This one is closest to where we are right now so gets our business, but the coffee is often out or cold. Customer service needs a lot of improvement. When asked, the staff takes their sweet time to refill the coffee or milk carafes. Very frustrating. When we order on the app they rarely read the instructions. Why give us an area to ask for something toasted or to not be included on a sandwich if you don’t read it? Trying to find a clean table can be interesting too. There are a couple conscientious workers there, but on the most part they don’t seem to care.
