1-29-30 I always love subway but the customer service sucks and the new meat isn’t the same anymore so I started eating at Panera bread the price may be a bit higher but it’s worth every cent ✅and faster friendly customer service too yummy I most definitely will be eating more here at this location ✔️I had the chipotle chicken avocado sandwich Omgosh unbelievable delicious Thank! Well, I had Panera several times, not from the Lake Charles location, and our thought was , we pick up the advertised French dip on the way home. Well, we waited at least 30 min, took so long where customers came to the window and asked what is going wrong with our foods? It was about 4.30PM. Here to the service 1 star, they told the customer behind us, older lady, “oh your food is ready and there’s we have to cook”, what? Here the 1 star to the food -> it was not French dip, it was onion gravy, you could see the onions, thick old gravy in a have full cup, and no meat on the sandwich, just scraped leftover scrubs you couldn’t see it on the bread and not identify the thin see through scrubs of something, and this supposed to be dipped und an old thick crusty onion gravy, what was not possible to do. So here my 1 star, and my advice, if you know French dip, don’t try from Panera Bread Lake Charles

I have never seen such a dedicated and caring staff in fast food restaurants. We came here for a quick brunch before hitting the road. For the first time, my fast food sandwiches looked like on the posters. They also tasted better than from other Panera bread locations that we tried!

First off, the orange scones are absolutely amazing! They are more soft than I would have imagined. The flavor tastes authentic and bold. I had their avocado and egg sandwich. The bread it came on was like an oat style bread. It was great. The location is easy to access. The restaurant is clean and the employees are friendly!
Update: I purchased the summer cup fruit. It was absolutely terrible! The fruit tasted bitter and then I was able to smell a foul odor. Maybe this was just a bad cup but it’s upsetting. I also requested for the girl at the front to add my rewards and she failed to do so. So I took a star off.

This was my first time eating at a Panera Bread in my life, and I am sooo disappointed. I ordered chicken noodle soup and the noodles were brown and there was an odd smell as well. The girl at the drive thru was really sweet though. Unfortunately, I won’t be back.

The bacon Mac & cheese was hot and cheesy. The Caesar salad was delicious and the dressing was flavorful. And the cookie and lavender lemonade were the perfect accompaniment

My fiance came to visit and was starting to feel sick and hadn’t eaten anything all morning. He said he wanted something light. Like soup or something to see if that would help settle his stomach. So what better place to get a delicious soup but Panera Bread located on Nelson Road lake Charles La near Lauberge Hotel and Casino and Golden Nugget Hotel and Casino. I ordered a Chicken Noodle Soup bowl for him and for me myself I ordered the Turkey Panini and a cup of Vegetable Soup and a Strawberry Banana Smoothie. Everything was absolutely delicious. I had visited Panera Bread a few times before purchasing pastries, and cookies for the holidays. I’ve always had a Great experience, and the staff is always very nice and accommodating. My only complaint sometimes is the drive thru service. It’s always really slow at theo window, but in all fairness the wait is definitely worth it.
