Ordered the Kicking Melted Cheese and it’s awesome. The salsa verse sauce gives it a kick and the bread is soft and whatever cheese they used, it tasted delicious.
We also had the French onion soup. Lols hot but it could have been piping hot which may have been even better.
Overall it’s a good place for lunch

Today I went into Panera bread and I was so truly blessed and a play named Vinny her kindness and sweetness went a long way today she didn’t know that I needed to be encouraged I am on the verge of becoming homeless because I’ve been battling since 2023 to keep myself together between depression in financial situations I have been forced to ask for help and it’s been low assistance and I went by this homeless man it is February 23rd and it’s so cold out there I bought me and him some soup and she gave me a $5 discount and smiled and said everything is going to be okay and this homeless guy sign says anything else and that’s what I’ve been asking everybody for anything helps…. I go to court February 24th and I have to fight for my home…. What I found is that our homeless people our families that paid late they pay the whole rent but they just paid late so I sit here with tears of kindness because somebody show me kindness today I just wanted to share the employee that really touched me

This might sound hyperbolic, but Panera Sip Club saved my life. Okay, that is a little bit of hyperbole, but it’s not far off. It really came in at exactly the right time for me, providing equal parts peace of mind and cost savings. The food is good—not amazing, just good—and the bagels are a staple. I see all of the donations this place makes to local charities, and the general generosity, too. The iced tea is a problem, though. Quality varies far too much, and I don’t know why. Over the past few weeks, it’s tasted like sewer water. Before that, it was fine. Before that, sewer water again. Very seldom is it actually good. Pepsi is pretty much all I get now, because the Dr. Pepper and Mountain Dew never taste right, pretty much like soda water. The lemonade has never been good, the papaya green tea has always been good with enough sugar added, but both are either out or disgusting on a pretty regular basis. I don’t understand why they’re so hard to get right consistently.

Ordered bagels for a client meeting They were supposed to be picked up at 845 at the rapid shelf. Of course. They weren’t there when I got there at 9 o’clock. So once I got them, the cream cheese was not what I ordered, and the bagels were burnt. I was so embarrassed, I called corporate, they told me they were not gonna refund my card. But they would give me a thirty five dollars in store credit! ridiculous!!!!

I hate to leave bad reviews but this was too awful an experience not to.

I ordered ahead and showed up at the time of my order pickup. I then proceeded to wait twenty minutes until my order was finally ready. My order was supposed to include a bread bowl. Instead I received a giant bag of bread and a tiny bowl of soup. Due to the way it was packed it looked like a bread bowl and a few baguettes on top. That meant I didn’t discover the issue until arriving home twenty minutes away.

If you want to get what you ordered in a timely manner I would spend your money somewhere else. Very disappointing.

I’ve missed Panera Bread. Since I’m in Topeka for a few more weeks. Why not.

So the nice young lady that took my order was so pleasant. Winning!!

Pick Two
I got that strawberry and chicken salad with the steak sandwich.

The salad unfortunately had a few bad pieces of lettuce

The sandwich was hot and on point.

The ice coffee left me kinda flat.

Now it’s been many moons since I had a Kitchen Sink cookie . I’m hyped for this thing. It’s huge and looks . But unfortunately, it was super doughy and didn’t seem to be baked all the way.

But other than that, it was an okay experience. They young lady at the register taking my order set the tone.

Disappointed by the cleanliness and upkeep

I stopped by this Panera Bread while in Topeka, and honestly, I was disappointed by how unkempt it was. The dining area and overall space looked dirty and cluttered, which really took away from the usual Panera experience I’m used to.

I understand it was a Saturday and probably a busy day, but cleanliness and organization should still be a priority — especially for a restaurant with such a strong brand reputation.

The staff seemed busy, but a little more attention to upkeep and presentation would make a big difference. I hope management takes this feedback seriously because I usually enjoy Panera, and I’d love to see this location improve.

Everything was good except, they need to corn better. The carpeting was full of bread crumbs and you could see behind the counter, gloves on the floor, napkins etc.

Super high-quality Panera bread location. Workers are exceptional. The service is exceptional. The atmosphere of the store is second to none. The folks in Topeka at this Panera bread location or doing it right. They certainly bring a great reputation to the company they serve.
