Genuinely the worst cinnamon crunch bagel I’ve ever received. Where’s the cinnamon and the crunch? I ordered 3 and they all looked like this. I mean the comparison between their menu photo versus what I got is actually insane. Do better

Let me start off by saying that I love Panera or St. Louis bread, Company or whatever you wanna call it and have been going to them since I was in college which was several decades ago. I travel around town for my job so I go to several Panera all across house, I was meeting a lady for a while to do some business meetings in university city and this was a nice meeting spot. However, every time I went there I got the worst customer service now being that I’ve only been there four times as it’s a new store I was giving them some grace. However, last week I went through the drive-through as I was getting a special surprise lunch for my child And ordered a kids meal and wanted to switch from American cheese to a white cheese. I’ve never had a problem making a custom order at a Panera in my life. In fact, it’s one of the things I love about them because they are able to work with you. My daughter does not like American cheese And I was trying to get her what she wanted for a special surprise they refused. I left. I will never go back to this location ever again. I was already put off by the other bad experiences I’ve had in previous visits on the inside, so I decided to drive through this time my previous visits on the inside included them, not having napkins, not able to get a water cup, and waiting for my food for over a half an hour when everybody else was getting served. I’m done with that location.!!!! Go to Creve Couer Panera instead.

I have eaten at many panera locations, and this one has to be one of the worst. Usually panera has a nice atmosphere with polite employees and delicious food. This panera’s atmosphere and employees were good, but the baguettes were inexcusably small. They are free, but these baguettes were half of the usual size. Also, the apples were rotten and mushy.

My breakfast sandwich was hot & tasted good (bacon & egg croissant, I highly recommend). On the negative side: the staff here aren’t welcoming or friendly at all (except for the tall man who was refilling the coffee maker with fresh beans — he was personable & helpful). This café needs some TLC: the bakery display was careless, the baked goods didn’t look appealing with grease spots on the display surfaces from baked goods long gone and the items weren’t displayed — they were just kind of plonked down. The coffee area had numerous spills (I’m a mom, of _course_ I wiped the counter clean). The supply of cup collars wasn’t immediately evident because there were only a few left at the bottom of the bin, sweetener/sugar packets were running low. I love Panera, even though it’s a pricey option, but the University City location really needs to up its game. First Watch is just a few steps away, and they are always friendly and welcoming. Attitude matters when I decide where I’m going to spend my hard-earned dollars. .

Recently visited Panera’s first digital cafe location! The absence of cashiers was surprising initially, but the kiosk ordering system was straightforward and hassle-free. Considering this, I’m leaning towards ordering online before my next visit. Plus, the convenience of a drive-through window is a huge bonus. The staff was notably friendly and welcoming. Overall, this Panera is a great addition to the area!

My least favorite panera i have ever been to.
Bathroom is gross, ordered for here received to go bag, no utensils given, sandwich is messily made and is soggy instead of toasted. Staff seem oblivious to other customers’ needs as well.
Plus side, i didn’t wait long to receive my food. But there were also no other customers ahead of me at the time of ordering.

I got a shredded chicken BBQ sandwich with a cheesy potato soup, half a baguette and hot chocolate with a blueberry muffin.
The sandwich had mushy chicken like its been sitting all day
The muffin was stale and so was the baguette
The only thing that was decent was the hot chocolate.

I did not enjoy my experience at this location this evening. There was a young lady working up front around 7:20 ish at the old Olive location who had a terrible attitude and was extremely unprofessional. She rushed me through what I was ordering and also made rude and inappropriate remarks back to me. I told her I didn’t like her attitude. I’ve NEVER been to any bread co location where I was made to feel like helping me was a nuisance and a chore. I will never be going back to this location ever again. I deserve to spend my money in an establishment that respects the customer and displays professionalism. I left without my food and without my refund because I couldn’t stand there another moment with her speaking to me in that nasty tone. I hope she does better in the future for her own sake, career and future endeavors. But again, I will never spend any more money at this OLD OLIVE location.

Loyal Panera customer here, but this location is by far the worst I’ve visited. The customer service is terrible. The manager acts like he’s working at a gas station instead of Panera and clearly needs serious training. The employees aren’t any better.
I went in for a quick lunch, and they were completely out of spoons — not even plastic ones. When I asked an employee for a spoon, he told me he could give me a fork. When I explained that I can’t eat soup with a fork and asked if I should just slurp it, he said, “You can.”
Unbelievable. Not the Panera experience I expect at all.

The food at this location is just not good. I ordered the chicken salad sandwich, which is my favorite thing on the menu, and it tasted terrible. It had weird powdery texture, tasted almost like tuna, and it was way too sweet and purple. The whole sandwich wasn’t great – the bread was falling apart, they put tomatoes in one spot on top of each other, and some of the lettuce was rotten. The lack of care that went into preparing my food is really disappointing. Panera has gone downhill.
