I got the Chipotle chicken avo sandwich. There was way way too much sauce on it and I’m the type of person who doesn’t mind a little extra sauce but the bread was completely soaked with it. I was very disappointed what saved my experience a little was the chicken wild rice soup. My go to used to be the steak and white cheddar sandwich which was discontinued. I didn’t return for months after I found out it was taken off the menu and when I finally came back it was a disappointing experience.

Went here tonight and the staff was very new…. Smelled like they burned something …. Out of most of there bread at 7 pm…. Before we got to the counter there was some employees standing around talking … Our sandwiches looked like they were literally thrown together I was not impressed no bagette with my soup….. however the redeeming thing was the girl at the counter her name was Thea and she was amazing!!! She made sure we had a clean table and apologized profusely

So let’s talk about it.
Every time I go to Panera, whether it’s the drive through or dine in, they’re so patient with me. They always strive to do their best when I ask for specific orders.
My only real con is: half a sandwhich isn’t $6 but $9 and a whole is $12, that math is incorrect but hey I’m not on the finance team or marketing so idk. No worries, they’re still fire! Also, when using the drive thru, a tip option should be made available -as soon as possible.
I came in the building the other day and Brent let me know I had a whole stick just clinging to my sweater. I met Andrew, his smile is so infectious. The other staff, bless them all. Homework is easy to do here. I think I’ll end it there though, otherwise this review will be a J.R.R Tolkien book, so.

We came in with egg allergies and they were so amazing about it. There was an error with our first set of sandwiches but the staff was quick to fix it! Thank you to Jerry for accommodating us and to Tony for going above!

I had a bad delivery order experience with Panera via Doordash. After trying a few times unsuccessfully to reach Panera by phone I finally was able to talk with someone at Panera. The cafe person explained that my food had been ready and was delayed because a Dasher had not yet picked it up. It had been 45 minutes past the expected delivery time, and I was a bit hangry. The Panera cafe person listened, explained the hold up and sent me a coupon to apologize. Today I stopped in to give Panera a second chance. They redeemed themselves in my opinion. Thank you Mankato Panera. I will absolutely be back to enjoy more delicious food!

Normally when we come here, we have no issues. We came in for lunch today, December 4 and the floors when you walk in we’re covered in slush, and water, where my wife slipped a little. The garbage cans were overflowing, the place for the dirty dishes were overflowing with dirty dishes at both locations, the coffee bar was filthy, lemonade was almost empty, lids were almost out, no large cups were. Ordered a broccoli Mac and cheese bread bowl and got broccoli cheese soup instead. The waitress said that they rang up the wrong order and we used the kiosk to order it. Then they said they never made the broccoli and that it would be another minute to make, even though they gave us a broccoli bread bowl soup without saying anything.

Hairy food as if it got rolled into fur or in someone’s pants… didn’t want to have to make this review as I did speak w/ a manager before hand.. I was promised a free pick 2 in the mail. It was supposed to be mailed within a week, but it has been almost a month and still nothing. I went here bcuz I got a gift card after having a death in our family & after being treated so poorly I’m not sure I could go back. Would not recommend

I was met with a disturbing experience at the cash register today, Sunday November 9th.
I asked why the trash can was so nasty, trash spilling out onto to floor, just Nasty.
Was told it was a result of the influx of customers.
There’s No excuse for being so Nasty that the trash is spilling out over onto the ground.
The cleanliness is absolutely horrible.
The bathrooms used to be very bad, now the same tactics have migrated to the preparation area.
We go to Panera Bread because of its Professionalism.
Panera Bread is usually strives to be a step above.

The lady that took our order was extremely rude to the older woman ahead of us – she got mad at her for not specifying that she wanted her bagel cut and threw quite a bit of shade that poor lady’s way with the way she spoke to her. When we were up to give our order, the same worker got mad at me because she said she could only take one person’s order at a time, even though I was telling her both of my kids wanted the same thing for breakfast (so I was ordering 2 of the same sandwiches at the same time). I told my husband not to tip her anything because of her terrible attitude with us and the woman that ordered ahead of us…and we tend to tip all the time. Also, the soda machine was being fixed and the worker had his drink and his tools laid all over the counter, making it way harder than it needed to be to get a drink while they worked on it. The food was good but not amazing.
Another interesting observation I made while there was my family was the only one of color in the dining space (I have black kids and a Mexican husband), and it’s the first time I’ve experienced random people either smiling at us extra sweetly (the Minnesota equivalent of a Texan’s “bless your heart”) or giving us the side-eye all in one environment. Usually I don’t even notice that kind of behavior from others anymore, but it was crazy-noticeable in this establishment today! All in all, it wasn’t a super pleasant experience. We probably won’t visit Panera again when we’re in Mankato.
