Visited this Panera yesterday! We ordered food for 3 people. Ran into an issue with the paper gift card. When typed in by the clerk, it was declined. We knew it had money on it so I added it to my app and redeemed it that way. Asked for one of the meals to go and the whole meal was made to go. We also ordered a cookie and didn’t receive. Had to go up and grab it. We ended up just leaving due to the issues and ate it at home. Food was good, just wish service was better.

This experience was something horrible to say the least. Two employees were arguing and making mistakes with money right in front of the kind woman in front of me. They said they were clocked out. They were waiting for their ubers. There were I believe 2 managers on duty both completely ignoring everything going on. It was my turn finally and they were like I’m going to grab someone else because this takes too long and I have to remake my sandwich because the uber is here. She ended up doing it then just walked away before the transaction was even done, then I just ripped off the activation receipt myself and left. Hopefully the one on the other side of town is better than this hole of an establishment.

Stopped for coffee on a cold Minnesota morning with a blizzard outside. Had to question my sanity for going out on a morning like this. But they had salted, scooped and cleared the path amazingly well.
This location has ordering in person or online pick up. We ordered bagels and 2 coffee. We stayed to enjoy the coffee and warm up. They have a very large selection of fresh baked bagels. But the options don’t stop there- their bakery is quite extensive from Cookies, quiche, muffins, 6 types of bread, to bear claws and more.
They have lots of soup, salad, Mac n cheese choices. Soups are not made there, but frozen and shipped in. They are well seasoned and available in a cup, bowl, or bread bowl. Perfect homemade flavor for those who don’t want to cook.
My favorite soup is the chicken & rice or beef vegetable. The salads are all delicious and come half or whole size. They typically have a paired dressing with them, don’t be afraid to try the salad dressings, they truly pair perfectly with each particular salad.
The inside seating is ample and options of both booths and tables or spit combinations of the two. Drinks are self service for coffee, teas, and flavored waters/juices.
There are multiple smaller seating areas, which give a more private feel if you’re working on classroom work or for business.
Nice seating area with fireplace, I gravitated to on this cold Minnesota morning (see in photos).
The rest rooms were clean, have a child changing station and was stocked sufficiently.
Location is convenient in strip mall just off major Hwy. nearby Target, hotels, shopping, Home Depot, hair/nail places, ice cream and more.

This is a convenient location in north Rochester. I think my only complaint is that it feels incredibly cramped inside, from the entrance to the food-waiting area to the tables. That said, the service was great–our food was ready in minutes–and everything was fresh and tasty. I’d visit here again!

The sandwiches and bakery items here are always delicious. It’s a nice quiet environment to sit down and enjoy dinner or coffee with others. The restaurant is always clean when I visit and the staff are friendly.

we got soups and sandwiches. the spoon was very dirty, the soup had a hair and the plates had small black hairs. while we ordered I saw this employee use her phone with gloves on and not changing them, she went straight to make a salad with the same gloves she used.

I am new to Rochester. First visit here I ordered an asiago and an everything bagel. I learned this location also has issues with their bagel slicer not slicing evenly so I asked for it to be sliced by hand. They came out perfect for lightly toasting at home.

I love how the bagels are now lightly crispy on the outside! The bakery items were full and presented well. Staff was busy and the location looked great. Great experience and vibe. I will definitely be back!

Thank you so much because: the coffee was all made and ready to go there was plenty of sugar and cream. Even the ice coffee was full and the ice machine had ice cubes. This is such an improvement over last year. The staff is also much improved from 2023-2024. Highly recommend.

Panera Eagan could learn a lot from this location.

Tried again 2 years later: Ordered two BOWLS of soup. Cashier entered as a bowl and a cup. Food prep lady argued with me about it. The broccoli cheddar soup was gelatinous, not visually appealing, couldn’t make myself eat it. Ice machine nonfunctional. My son ordered hot chocolate which is listed on the menu, but the cashier claimed they don’t serve it. Lastly, the Cashier announced to the whole place that my card “didn’t go through,” as if it was declined when actually I just didn’t finish the process on the card reader and had to hold it longer to read. The cupboards were broken and looked run down, flies were annoying.

I don’t know what happened to the quality, but panera used to be good. My chicken salad sandwich had practically no chicken on it, just bread and lettuce. I had to go up to ask for my baguette that is supposed to come with my soup and the worker literally just ripped a chunk off the loaf and physically handed it to me. I’m not too bothered by that, but I know that’s not proper for a restaurant. My daughter’s grilled cheese had ONE slice of low quality, burnt cheese on it. My sons got mac n cheese that had a film on top because it had been under a warmer for too long. Too bad. I used to like Panera.

Husband tried to order food for 2 people. Person behind counter insisted he needed to do a Pick 2. He said he did not want a Pick 2. Said he wanted a full sandwich and a full salad. He got a Pick 2 whether he wanted it or not. Not enough food for 2 people! Does anyone at this store listen to the customer?
