With over 14 years of residency in Elk River, it’s surprising that I had not visited this Panera location until today. Notably, it’s extremely close to my home and possibly the closest restaurant in Elk River. My Italian Steak and Mozzarella sandwich was outstanding. My wife and daughter also enjoyed their meals, which included grilled cheese with tomato soup and Mac Cheese with Bacon. We were impressed by the excellence of all our dishes. Furthermore, the service was exceptional, characterized by immediate attention from the cashier and rapid food delivery.

The Chicken Asiago sandwich and the bacon mac & cheese was delicious! I wished that I had a Panera where I lived. In addition, the staff overall was friendly and nice. Highly recommend coming here!

I don’t get to eat out much, I’m over an hour away, but when I’m in Elk River I like to eat at Panera. I have to say, though, the last few times I’ve been there I have not been pleased. The service was as if I was an inconvenience and the food was not up to your standards. The lettuce on my sandwich was mostly passed its prime and it had 2 very small pieces of chicken on it. The soup was very good but was just slopped in the bowl with it all over the sides. The booths were all dirty. I had to go and get napkins, get them wet, and wash the table. I know this sounds like a negative review. I’m hoping I was there on just an off day. I know Panera is better than this.

Panera Bread is exactly what you expect—consistent, quick, and convenient. However, the prices keep climbing while the food quality stays the same, making it harder to justify the cost. It’s reliable for a familiar meal, but the value isn’t what it used to be.

The cashier was very friendly and considerate. The salad was good until I realized there was a hair in it. That’s gross. Panera, please invest in some hair nets for your kitchen staff.

Excellent and fast service. Nice atmosphere. Clean inside. Large selection of soups and salads. I recommend. It’s a shame that the chicken fruit salad is only available in the summer. It’s incredibly delicious!

They were out of strawberry smoothies. We didn’t get our mac and cheese which we ordered and payed for. We got a little soup instead which we didn’t order. So I didn’t even get to eat the meal that I wanted. I didn’t want the soup I wanted the mac and cheese that we ordered and payed for.
