I’ve tried several times and I’m just not a fan of Panera. Sandwiches, bagels, soup, and bread are all better at other restaurants. Plus, Panera is extremely expensive for what you get in return. I know office workers need a place to order food from for uncomfortable lunches with coworkers, but this is not it. The small mac and cheese is almost eight dollars!

We love the food but this most recent experience almost cost my mother her job. We ordered lunch and a Tuesday bakers dozen with rapid pickup. It was not rapid. My mother was on her hour lunch break after having run a few errands, and we decided to pick up Panera on the way home. We ordered online and I was sent in to wait. I waited for 30 minutes before my mother ran out of time after overextending her lunch break, only to find that the actual food had been ready almost the entire time, however they decided to withhold it from us to make an entire new batch of bagels, which would take around and hour and 10 minutes. We were told that they thought it would only take 30 minutes so they just had us wait. They didn’t communicate this until after the original 30 minutes had passed. We were given our ten dollars back and had to leave without that portion of our order and down 30 minutes of our lives and breaks. Would not recommend this place if you have places to be within the next 2 hours or so.

This Panara was opened some months ago after moving locations in Apple Valley. It is a beautiful dining setting. On May 9, 2023, went in for a late lunch – like 3:00 pm.. The handful of people in the dining area. No employees to take order, no problem used the kiosk. The food arrived. Did pick 2. My chicken Chipotle avocado sandwich was great! The soup was not even hot. I brought it back to the counter and the worker asked if it was the Broccoli cheddar, which it was. They offered to replace, but I just asked for it to be microwaved. That’s fine. The cactus pear tea is now watered down. BOO!

I ordered the turkey avocado blt. They were out of both avocado and bacon. They literally slapped a 1/2 slice of turkey on there. They also got got my 2 sides. 2/10 would not recommend this location

Food was awesome. It was super warm in there with the weather being crazy outside. The fireplace made all the difference. The chocolate croissant is massively chocolatey (a lot more than most bakeries) but I love that. The wild rice soup and the salad sandwiches are always top notch.

I ordered for rapid pickup but it’s far from rapid. The staff in back are completely flustered and over worked, the drive through lane is blocked off so you end up sitting at the window until you get noticed by someone to get your order. By the time someone came to the window I’d already been waiting at the window for 7 minutes. I was then told my order was not going to be ready for “a long while since we are very understaffed”. I do not blame the staff for this and the worker I talked to (Millie 🙂 ) was very apologetic about the situation. Still wasn’t the fastest experience, and DO NOT recommend going through the drive through ever!
