I genuinely don’t understand what’s going on with this Panera location lately, but it’s becoming a pattern and it’s extremely frustrating.
The last several times I’ve ordered a bread bowl with soup through DoorDash, the order arrives with just the soup and no bread bowl at all. The bread bowl is literally the entire point of ordering that item. If I wanted soup in a regular container, I would have ordered soup in a regular container.
At first I assumed it was a simple mistake. It happens. But when it happens multiple times in a row, it starts to feel less like an accident and more like the order simply isn’t being fulfilled correctly.
Bread bowls aren’t a garnish or an optional side. They’re the main feature of the meal. Sending out a “bread bowl soup” without the bread bowl is like selling someone a sandwich and forgetting the bread.
If the location is out of bread bowls, the honest thing to do is mark them unavailable in the app or contact the customer. Just sending incomplete orders over and over again is not good service.
Panera used to be a reliable comfort food stop. Lately it feels like a gamble whether you’ll receive what you actually ordered.

I have an exam in Madison, I was looking for place to have a coffee in, this was the only one I found close to the place where I live. Coffee it wasn’t that much great less than normal. I had peice of it was also average.
For me as some one went through different coffee shops in my whole entire life ,this place below than average. They need to work more in the coffee they should introduce espresso machine like Rancilio.

My career forces me travel often and I prefer to find Panera when I can.
I’ve been coming to this one for a month, and my last day is here.
This location has exceptional service. Their staff is amazing and always friendly and I am so sad to leave.

Tables dirty. Never saw anyone clean a table. Floor dirty with litter and food scraps. Bathroom needed touching up. Bread was good. Chicken sandwich mediocre.

Busy at noon. Place is easy to find, parcking is available. Staff could be more friendly but in general del service is good. We had to wait a while for the food but it was worth the wait. The chipotle flat bread was amazing! The chocolate latte no too strong no too sweet. The chocolate croissant is excellent. They have a microwave inside a cabinet in case tou want to heat your pastries up.

Order taker was very slow. We ordered 1 sandwich at 1:15pm, not busy at that time. Observed the kitchen staff have literally no sense of urgency whatsoever. It took 30 minutes to get 1 sandwich. We had to take it with us so that we were not late for a doctor appointment. Talked to other customers who had the same problem. We had dinner at Olive Gardens the same night, ordered 2 drinks, salad, an appetizer and 2 dinners. All of it was delivered in about 20 minutes. Panera is going to lose a lot of business if they don’t correct the wait times for ordering and getting food out of the kitchen at the Madison east location.

This is the THIRD time that I have waited almost 45 minutes in line for my order to even be taken. They kept saying “i’ll tell you when i’m ready” no apologies for making us wait. We also got cut off by the rapid pick up people. By the time we got our food half the order was wrong, and our food was freezing cold. We got in the drive through up to the ordering microphone at 11:56, and finally got our order taking at 12:44. We then sat at the window with nobody coming to take our payment or give us food for another 12 minutes. I was so frustrated. If there was a way for me to pull out of the panera drive true and leave, I would have. I will not be returning to this panera again.

Ive been waiting 30 minutes in the drive through and I paid $18 for a bowl of soup, 1/2 BLT and a drink. Next time I will just got sit down and have a good meal somewhere else. This half BLT was $6

I hadn’t had Panera in years and I guess I will continue to not have them. I ordered delivery and got the cranberry chicken sandwich and when I opened it was very disappointed that it had barely a scoop of the chicken stuff and no tomato like in the picture. I know the website pictures are always better than in person but for $15 (small soup and half sandwich which the soup was disappointing as well) I expected more than that.
