I initially tried to order my food at the kiosk but it would not let me customize my sandwich. I asked the cashier if I could sub the bread for Michelle or sourdough. She said sourdough yes. I had soup and ordered the baguette as the side. The bread ended up being rustic sourdough. I asked them in the prep area what kind of bread was the sandwich made with and told them I ordered sour dough. Their like yeah rustic sourdough and were absolutely no help. The bread from the sandwich and the baguette was stale and chewy. I had to just eat the interior of the sandwich and drip the baguette in my soup in order to chew it. I was ready to ask for a refund. What a waste of time and money.

After a messed up order we noticed a worker scrapping the air vents above the kitchen where dust was falling all over the floors and possibly food surfaces in the cooking area. After complaining to the workers at the front they said she’s far enough away so it’s ok and it’s not getting in the food. If you can see from the picture she is clearly in the food prep area making a mess.

I was there for a quick business meeting. Place seemed fairly busy but was still places to sit. The other party was there when I arrived. I tried to get something to drink as I joined them, but there was nobody behind the counter. A young man showed up but said he was on his break and didn’t know how to use the register, so I gave up. I went back to the table, finished my meeting, and left without ever getting anything. Floors seemed like they needed professional cleaning as well.

It was absolutely horrible. Ordered for lunch. Ordered at 11am, for 12pm. Go there just before noon. Waited over an hour for my order. I lost 1 1/2 hour of pay from my job. No apology. I was picking up 3 other orders along with mine. Never ever ordering lunch from here again. When asking the manager about my orders and he just walked away. Ahole. Many people were packing there orders to go. They waited so long also. Penera did nothing for my inconvenience. Or lose of pay.

Everything here is good except for every time i order a whole order of the southwest chili lime salad, they tend to fill up only half of the box. i was in Ohio last week, and i had the same type of salad and the salad filled up to the top. i came to this location again today to have lunch with my daughter, and ordered the same thing and my salad was only half box with some spoiled pieces of salad and ONLY 4 pieces of chicken (costs more than $10.00). My daughter had her soup but kept asking me for chicken but i could only give her couple pieces because there was only 4 pieces for this order. Unbelievable. I understand that you’re busy at lunch time, but half box of salad with 4 pieces of chicken for $10.00 is a rip off.
