I wish Panera didn’t exist, but my wife does, and thus it exists in the fragile bubble of my life.
The restaurant is uncomfortably warm. The kind of warm that makes you feel a little bit ill and queasy. Relief comes outside in the fresh air, but sours your mood for hours afterwards as your stomach settles down.
The service is as slow as the tablets they make you order on now. The only thing slower than both is the Patron in front of you trying to use the tablet and credit card reader and failing. Tablets have existed for 15 years and credit cards for 50, but both are beyond the grasp of the Patron.
The food tastes like a board meeting. It’s satisfying in the same way a single paper cone of water in a doctor’s office waiting room is satisfying.
At least coming here helps me remind myself how much I love my wife.

My last 2 experiences here at Panera have been terrible. Thee food has been alright when its made correct or available. Both times recently however as I stand and wait for my order I over hear the employees and what turned out to be the manager complaining about the schedule and the people on the schedule as well as cursing openly and often. Ordered extra bread and got multiple bags of chips instead… unbelievable

I picked up a sub for my Mans lunch. He said it was ok but has eaten better. And…people just aren’t friendly anymore. The gal that waited on me didn’t appear to be happy to be there. The did away with the chicken/beef and broccoli bowl and that was the best thing they had. Im very disappointed

Food was delicious, salads fresh and tasty. Soup hot and tasty. At pickup window I asked for some butter and was also offered knives. Low on flavored coffee, they came to tell us when fresh had replaced.

Always enjoy my meal. The Mexican corn soup is very good and gluten-free which is important. Staff took great care with food preparation.

This operation seemed short staffed. A couple behind us left after a long wait. My latte took an extraordinary long time. Additionally, the greens in my salad were not prepared properly, much too large and no knife was provided resulting in only half being edible.

Had two Turkey Bravo sandwiches delivered but both where missing the turkey (you know the main part of the sandwich) called the location and the manager refused to make it right by having new sandwiches delivered. Manager was also rude about the whole situation. And when you pay over $60 for lunch you kinda hope you get what you order.

I just went to Panera. Service was god awful went through the kiosk when other people ordered but didn’t work for us and the cashier was awful. Then got the Mac and cheese I ordered just to be runny when the other Mac and cheese we had was creamy. I brought it back and they proceeded to lie and say when it cooled down it would be creamy which it never did and wouldn’t just give us a different bowl.
Overall awful service and will not come again I recommend going to the other one in Kalamazoo

What an absolutely horrendous way to service customers, let alone DoorDash drivers. They hide the complete delivery orders behind a counter and do not call out when they are ready, and then had the audacity to tell me to, “keep my arms off of the counter,” because apparently, that was the only way to get their attention.

Less than helpful. Asked two different employees questions about their products and help cutting pastries for my kids. Both had attitudes when I asked. I love Panera but this location needs some customer service training.
