I visit this Panera Bread almost every day, and I wanted to finally leave a note of appreciation. My family and I use the Sip Club, and we are always satisfied with the quality and consistency of the service.
This location at 2080 W Grand River Ave, Okemos, MI 48864 provides a warm and comfortable space that truly feels welcoming. We are grateful for such a place in our daily routine.
Thank you to all the staff members who are always kind, professional, and dedicated to providing the best service. Your hard work shows every day.

Pulled up to drive thru, waited at least 1-2 mins. Ordered a plane bagel(they didn’t have any) fine, moved on grabbed something else pulled up to the window at 8:24 waited until 8:32, 4 workers were in the back not tending to the drive thru, I honked my horn, because obviously it’s early am and I have to be to work, he still hadn’t even dropped my bagel in the toaster, I explained I had to go, so he could either cancel or I needed my stuff soon. He told me he could give me my phone not toasted but it would take an extra 2 mins. (Not sure why that wasn’t done when I pulled up) terrible service through the drive, after saying “they were super busy” I pulled around and there were two cars for the lobby, I was also the only car in the drive thru. I’d advise to retrain on customer service at its finest….

I have had a consistent good experience at this Panera with my partner! The food is always good, the atmosphere is usually pretty chill, although it does get pretty busy at times.
The staff is super nice though! Kyle in particular was really friendly and helpful, and just made the experience more human and enjoyable!

Some great new sandwiches on offer by this company these days.
I had the chicken pesto ciabatta dipper with the black bean soup and both were better than I expected. I might have added a bit more salt and a pinch of garlic to the soup, but it was a great companion to the sandwich. I elected to accept a short length of French baguette as a side and that was also great for dipping in the soup.
The staff were friendly and efficient and I didn’t see anybody goofing laugh back there. It was a positive all around, and I’ll be happy to visit this location again.

Terrible experience. We ordered a comfort meal for a family that really needed it. The online order was placed in the morning for 5:30 pm delivery. We received numerous last minute text that delivery will be a bit late but was on the way. We finally got in touch with an associate only to find out that our food order has been sitting ready for delivery since 5pm. No one from DoorDash has picked it up despite receiving updates that the food is on the way. It’s now 6:45pm and the food is still waiting for pickup. Everyone is blaming the other guy. I would not recommend using this Panera Bread location if you want customer service.

Waited 20 minutes for 2 bagel sandwiches because they needed the microwaveable egg patties but they were completing many pick-up orders that were put in after ours. They said our order was ready about 7 minutes before it actually was to likely preserve their metrics. Will not be returning or giving the Panera establishment our money ever again. The croissant sandwich looked like something that could be made in an airplane microwave or purchased in the freezer section of Walmart. Way too expensive.

I had such a great experience at this Panera! Greyson the manager went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. He was incredibly friendly, attentive, and professional, making the whole visit smooth and enjoyable. It’s clear they truly care about their team and their customers. You can feel the positive energy in the restaurant, and it really makes a difference. This location is lucky to have such a dedicated manager—I’ll definitely be coming back!”

I have been a frequent drive thru customer over the past several years. Recently, the drive thru service has become really poor. I have experienced long waits, missing items and ingredients missing from salads and sandwiches. Today (mid-afternoon, not rush hour) I ordered a grilled cheese, an untoasted bagel and a beverage. My beverage wasn’t what I ordered and the wait for the food was so long that I had to leave without it in order to get to my next appointment.

I asked for extra au jus for the French dip. I was refused by staff and management. 4oz to dip a 12″ sandwich. I’m outraged and I didn’t even get a refund for unacceptable food. I will NEVER eat at any Panera.
The little cup of jus wasn’t even half full
The manager and staff act privileged and dismissive.
