On our journey from Chicago to Louisville, we hit the midpoint on I-65 around Lafayette, Indiana, and boy, were we in need of a break! Lo and behold, the shining beacon of deliciousness known as Panera Bread appeared before us. Easy access from the interstate? Check. Inviting ambiance? Double check. So we cruised into the parking lot and stepped inside for a much-needed refueling session.

I absolutely love Panera Bread! The atmosphere is cozy and inviting, and the staff is always friendly and attentive. As for the food, it’s delicious and made with fresh ingredients. I highly recommend trying their broccoli cheddar soup and their chicken Caesar salad. The bread is also amazing – I can never resist getting a warm loaf to take home. Overall, Panera Bread is a great place to grab a quick bite or meet up with friends.

This is what you now get for @$25. They had even run out of baguettes as a side. My sandwich was made with so little meat that I had to rearrange the meat to cover the bread. And some dude lurking behind me at the drink station probably gave me Covid on Easter Sunday, to add insult to injury. Next time I’ll probably get the Mac and Cheese. Yep. I’ll be back but I’m not happy about it.

The soups tasted like they came out of a can from the grocery store. The chicken on my grilled sandwich was Luke warm. They got my wife’s order wrong. The lady at the cah register was great and helpful. But that was after wasting time with the self ordering kiosk. It never would take our second order. We won’t be back anytime soon.

Very modern chic Panera Bread. I’ve never been to one like this before. Pretty cool experience. You can place your order on a touch screen pad as soon as you walk in. You can also place your order at front cashier as well. My chicken noodle soup came out pretty quick. It still cost me $5 for a soup and a baguette and tasted exactly the same as any other Panera, but it was just a nice atmosphere compared to the usual ones. Lots of seating places and outlets. Probably a great place to get a quick bite with a friend/co-worker or study. They also have a drive thru. The tables were just a bit dirty, the first 3 places I looked to sit had crumbs and spills. But I guess even if it looks classy on the outside, it’s still like a fastfood place.

I have been to so many Panera breads, I love the food. This one in particular has made me really consider ever going back, first off I order 5 sandwiches and it takes 30 minutes, then when I get the food my sandwich so so messy I can barley even eat it, I also ordered a ceased salad with chicken and they didn’t put chicken on the salad. The consideration put into preparing my food was so little if any at all. I would not waste your time or money at a place like this.

the food was good. I think the menu is VERY confusing, so did the other two people I was with. We weren’t sure what we were getting. Sure wish you had potato soup. I ended up with an apple, which I had to ask that they slice it!!! Lots of people have dentures and have trouble eating apples, so why not slice them all?
