I visited here for the first time on a certain day in January 2026.
I ordered a cup of iced tea and “You Pick 2” which were
Cup Chili and 1/2 Asian Sesame Chicken Salad with
Extra Asian Sesame vinegar
Pepperoncini
Extra Wonton Strips
Extra Sesame Seeds
Roasted Corn

And I chose a French Bread

On our journey from Chicago to Louisville, we hit the midpoint on I-65 around Lafayette, Indiana, and boy, were we in need of a break! Lo and behold, the shining beacon of deliciousness known as Panera Bread appeared before us. Easy access from the interstate? Check. Inviting ambiance? Double check. So we cruised into the parking lot and stepped inside for a much-needed refueling session.

And let me tell you, fate was on our side that day because we encountered the superstar of all cashiers – the one and only Natalie! This gal deserves a standing ovation for her professionalism, positive humor, and that magnificent smile that could light up the whole restaurant. Seriously, she made ordering a delightful experience, and I can’t remember the last time someone’s cheerfulness left such a lasting impression.

Natalie wasn’t just all talk and no action; she was genuinely eager to help and served us like it was a privilege. It’s like she had a secret mission to make everyone’s day better, one smile at a time. I couldn’t resist pausing to thank her for her incredible attitude – we definitely need more Natalies in this world!

But that’s not all. The good vibes didn’t end with Natalie. The bathrooms were squeaky clean, and the seating area was cozy and spotless – a true oasis of comfort for road-weary travelers.

So, to sum it all up, if we ever find ourselves in that neck of the woods again, you can bet your bottom dollar we’ll be making a beeline straight to Panera Bread, hoping to catch a glimpse of the extraordinary Natalie. Hats off to you, Natalie, and kudos to Panera for creating an awesome experience that goes beyond just the food. Keep being the sunshine we all need in our lives!

Up to par for the most part. However, my soup temp was not as hot as expected or maybe it cooled quickly bc ofda cooling system being set to “frigid”. One employee said it’s always like that so bring a jacket.

When ordering a drink, I verbally provided the phone number registered to my membership, but after they failed to understand it three times, I wrote the numbers down on my phone. However, they said they couldn’t see it because of poor eyesight, which I found rude and frustrating.

A good place to work with fast Wi-Fi and a good atmosphere. They have a fireplace section, a couple comfy booth sections with outlets, and normal seating. It is very nice and cozy atmosphere. Right off of the highway as well and close to grocery stores, other restaurants, and things to do in the area.

continually out of items if you order online, except you don’t know that until you arrive to pick up your order because their staff has zero understanding of customer courtesy calls and mark your order as ready regardless. they tell you they’ll refund the out of stock or missing items from your order, but they don’t. do not order from any business that fails accountability.

Noticing a quality drop recently. Bagels taste and have the texture of store-bought pre-frozen bread. Like something from Aldi. No hate to Aldi but I expect more from Panera. Definitely not fresh. Disappointed.

I’ve gone through the line. I have gone inside and I’ve even ordered from DoorDash. Make sure you check your order before you leave the parking lot and if you’re gonna order from DoorDash, don’t because you can’t check the order before it gets to you.

Oh, and just opening the bag and trusting the label that they use doesn’t work anymore. I ordered a tuna sandwich and got the cranberry walnut chicken salad sandwich.
I’m Highly allergic to walnuts and I got the pleasure of using my pen AND a hospital visit.

Also doesn’t help that they move at a snails pace. Very obviously need better management in here

Very modern chic Panera Bread. I’ve never been to one like this before. Pretty cool experience. You can place your order on a touch screen pad as soon as you walk in. You can also place your order at front cashier as well. My chicken noodle soup came out pretty quick. It still cost me $5 for a soup and a baguette and tasted exactly the same as any other Panera, but it was just a nice atmosphere compared to the usual ones. Lots of seating places and outlets. Probably a great place to get a quick bite with a friend/co-worker or study. They also have a drive thru. The tables were just a bit dirty, the first 3 places I looked to sit had crumbs and spills. But I guess even if it looks classy on the outside, it’s still like a fastfood place.

Terrible service. We waited for 25 minutes and the only way I need our food was ready was because I read every single ingredient on every to go bag. We ordered with a text notification and it never came. The kitchen staff said “it might text you but I don’t know if it will or not”.
