My daughter and I stopped for a late dinner the other day. It was about 8pm, so when they said they were out of the baguette it wasn’t a big deal. We both ordered the ‘you pick two’. I got the soup and salad, my daughter got the half sandwich and salad. I guess I expected the salad to include more lettuce. With the small soup, the salad was ridiculously small. Same with my daughter’s. We had to go get something for dinner after getting ‘dinner’ at Panera.

I visit this location often, like two to three times a week. Usually, everything is on point. Today I ordered delivery on the app. Avocado toast. There is literally only two slices of avocado on the piece of sourdough. Not enough, even when smeared, to cover the slice. It’s AVOCADO toast…you know, the main ingredient. I’m super disappointed in my tomato and arugula with a hint of avocado toast. I ordered two so I’m actually doubly disappointed. Do better.

I was referred to Panera, never had it but heard great things. Unfortunately my first experience I’m very disappointed. I purchased a soup and salad combo. Soup fantastic very little portion however the cesar salad was awful. Lettuce discolored, barely had actual lettuce it was actually the worse sesar salad I’ve ever had. The green smoothie was good. Oh and my bread was just inside of the bag not inside of anything.

Normally we love Panera. We order regularly from there and love the salads. However yesterday the salad I received made me sick

Cold food!!! Waited 25 minutes to get 2 bowls of cold soup and a chicken sandwich. They made the soup and put it in the window, did not call me up to get them till they made the chicken sandwich was put up in the window, which was also cold as well.
They might as well put in a microwave so we can heat up the food so it will be somewhat warm to eat.
Cold soup is NOT GOOD!
Also, maybe do a call in order. They make those priority oven ppl actually walking in to eat. And do not expect anyone to take your order. You will be directed to the tablets to enter your own order! What happened to good customer service!

I came here for the first time today with my aunt before going to the movies, and the food was quite excellent.
I got the “Pick 2” option as a way to try a variety, in which I ordered a 1/2 Ciabatta Cheese Steak, along with 1/2 Strawberry Poppyseed Chicken Salad. Also a Cranberry Orange Slice, as well as Chips, and a Passion Papaya Iced Green Tea; all of which were tasty.
Lastly to note, I’d say the service was very good as well as the atmosphere were friendly; overall I’d say the experience was much enjoyed and I therefore wouldn’t mind coming here again to Panera Bread.

7.31.25 I spoke with Hailey, and she said Stephen is the general manager. Explained that Stephen and I spoke 2 months ago, and I am still waiting on the voucher.* Initially, I was not going to write about my greasy croissant, sausage, egg, and cheese sandwich. I figured someone was just a little heavy-handed with the butter. But when I arrived home to eat my cinnamon roll, I decided now you need to say something. The roll was so hard that I had to use a knife to cut it and chose not to eat it. I called back to the store, and Stephen answered the phone. I told Stephen the above, and he offered to mail me a voucher for the cinnamon roll. I told him that the croissant wrapping paper was drenched in butter.

Much better than my first visit shortly after they opened this location. Sandwich was excellent, the French bread baguette very good. Service was fast and it was clean. But, like my first visit, the unsweetened tea was terrible. My guess is its from a bag of concentrate but they say it’s brewed. In any case, it’s not worth drinking, and that or plain water is about all I drink. Bummer, i liked the sandwich, but the tea will keep me away.

Today I waited in the lobby to order for so long I almost left. There were at least 10 people behind the counter who are oblivious about the customers at the counter. The ordering computers at the door are confusing after you select what you want. On two separate incidents in the recent past I drove through and ordered and both times they forgot to put the sandwich in the bag. They did give me a gift certificate the next time i was in. If people who work in the restaurants want to delay the coming of robots to get our food and do everything then they need to have a wake up call. The computers are already trying to take our orders. Without customers there are no salaries. Triple check your orders. Be aware of every customer walking in your door. The thing with Panera is the food is really good. Your job security at the moment in New Albany IN is the good food that keeps everyone coming back.

Teriyaki chicken bowl was the same portion I give to my infant son…. The managers did nothing about it . EVEN THOUGH ONE OF THEM SAID IT WAS THE HALF SIZE. -10/10 would not recommend. Left pic is what I got vs what I was offered.
