The person at the checkout didn’t seem to understand her job. We wrote it off to bring a new employee. She asked if we had a Panera card, I said no but I would like one. She said oh, I don’t know about that. Just download the app, then proceeded to ring up the order incorrectly. Had to ask for a cup, she didn’t know about that either. No one was in the kitchen area, waited quite a while. Finally they came out of the back and started cooking. Totally forgot about the smoothie. The food was good when we got it. This was during a time with only one other table occupied, two other people came in while we were waiting.

The food is amazing of course. The atmosphere is pretty good too. But everytime I go in there’s always this one lady working the counter who acts like she’d rather be somewhere else. She judges everyone who walks in with a look, picks and chooses who she wants to wait on, and takes her sweet time making orders. Everytime I go in I just wanna be in and out in a few minutes cause I usually order online. But she has to take her time or just not do it until I go up and ask. I get working in food service is hard. I work in the food service industry myself. But you have to have a good attitude with customers.

When we ordered the last souffle, apparently someone ordered the same in the drive thru. We watched as they packed up the last souffle, and walked off with it! The manager was very nice and offered my husband anything else on the house. He had the avocado, egg whites on a baggot. Something that he wouldn’t have tried! He enjoyed the sandwich!

A bit expensive for the quality of food, where is e money going as employees are paid too little. They do have the best danish but now that I eat gluten/dairy free there aren’t many options for me there.

Our family goes here most every Saturday morning for family time. We wish the booths would get cleaned or new material there. Stained and dirty looking. Coffee is a little bitter

This is a very nice Panera in Anderson. The strawberry poppyseed salad with chicken is wonderful and healthy. The bread that comes with it is tasty.

My special needs son was there with a group from assisted living where he volunteers. The person waiting on him went out of their way to be nice to him and I wanted to express our appreciation.

This was my first time ever having Panera bread. My family has gone. However, it always seemed to be when I wasn’t with the one going. I got the roast beef sandwich and tomato soup, picked two options, and everything was delicious. I will say that it definitely had more spices than a regular sandwich, which made it even better the service was nice, and the employees were patient and kind.

I have been supporting this location since they came to the area several years ago. I enjoy the offerings Panera has. However, in the past few years, this location has been highly inconsistent with regard to availability of items. ROUTINELY, they are OUT OF baguettes. OFTEN, they are out of the apples for the Fuji apple salad. This location also could use more frequent cleaning, including wiping tables off. During one recent visit, during which there were no other patrons in line, I waited several minutes for someone to take my order. When an employee finally came to the register – I thought to help – she never greeted me, or made eye contact. Instead, she was texting on her phone. Eventually a manager came over and apologized for my wait, and explained that the employee was a minor, and that she needed to clock out promptly at 7 PM, or the restaurant would be fined. Perhaps a better choice would be to have the employee perform that task elsewhere, and suggest to the employee that they at least explain what they’re doing.
