Great Food and Friendly Service at Panera Bread

I had a great experience at Panera Bread. The restaurant was clean, welcoming, and well organized. The food was fresh, delicious, and made exactly as ordered. You can really taste the quality of the ingredients, especially in the soups, sandwiches, and baked goods.

The staff were friendly, patient, and professional, making the visit even better. Service was quick, and the atmosphere was calm and comfortable—perfect for dining in or grabbing a quick meal.

Overall, Panera Bread consistently delivers great food and excellent service. I’m very satisfied and will definitely be back. Highly recommended!

Very friendly, clean, and timely with the service. Polite and knowledgeable of products. Very affordable for a reasonable budget date night. They even have a fireplace for atmosphere. The entire time we were there the stff never stopped cleaning, even whipping down the seats. I was especially pleased to find that the cheddar cheese and broccoli soup, genuinely had veggies.

no matter how you order their food, through the drive thru, through the desk or even online they mess it up. i ordered extra bread today, didnt get it, the girls at the drive through window seem like they are not equipped to do the job and so much more. they always have a manager there but it seems as if the manager doesnt do their job to ensure food is coming out correctly

I have recently started going to this Panera again regularly. Up until a couple of weeks ago, you never knew what you were going to get. If I went through the drive-thru, the order was wrong 90%of the time. So I started going in to order that way I could correct the mistaken side or emphasize the sandwich customization.
I was dining in yesterday and the new manager, Jarrett introduced himself. He said he had started recognizing my custom sandwich order and wanted to make sure I had been satisfied with it, not only right then, but also in the past. He even asked if there’s any other way he could make it better in the future. He even recommended an additional topping that proved to be an amazing addition! Not only is he supper attentive to exactly what’s ordered, Jarrett seems like he genuinely cares about making the customer happy and it really seems like he enjoys doing it.
This level of care and attention does not exist at, not only every other Panera around, but every fast food place out there.
I hope Panera realizes how valuable of an employee Jarrett within their company. He embodies the personality and spirit of a maître d’ at a high-end restaurant and deserves to be respected as such by his employer.

8/28 – Order: 6051715969217100 – ordered food to show up between 12 – 12:15, showed up at 12:18. I called the store and they told me they left shortly after 11:00 am. It’s a 28 min. drive? I also requested plates napkins and serving ware, did not get this.

8/14/25 – Order: 6051715959917594 – Food showed up an hour late. Was supposed to be delivered 11:15 – 11:30 a.m., I called at 11:30, they said it was going to be another 15 minutes, they just left. I called at noon, no answer, I called at 12:05, they said they were stuck in construction. They finally showed at 12:30. I was called by a manager at 6:00 p.m. wanting to know details, she told me she was going to issue me a $150. voucher for my next order. I haven’t seen anything or any physical vouchers.

The food is excellent, but the team and staff needs to work on accuracy and timing. The staff is very polite, its hard on my end when we are hosting important visitors and expecting timely delivery.

The staff here are very pleasant and engaging. The food is served fast and as has always been my experience with Panera, everything tasted absolutely delicious. As noted by many other reviews, the food is a bit on the pricey side. But once you taste it you get the feeling you’re getting your money’s worth.

That being said I’m giving 3 out of 5 stars because they could have done a little bit better with the cleanliness. While I wouldn’t describe the place as “filthy,” it was far below the level of the standard I’ve become used to at this chain.

Bathrooms and dining area needed a once over.

Wow. Took 20 min to get 2 bagels cut and toasted. It was quicker to get the manager to come out and give me a refund vs getting the food. I know everywhere is short staffed but they had roughly 9 ppl working so I don’t know what the delay could have been.

We’ve never ate inside of the Panera in Sandusky. We’ve been through the drive-through a few times for just drinks. So first off, all the open tables were filthy dirty. I went to their counter and grabbed a bottle of cleaner, and cleaned a table to eat on. The floors were dirty and not swept. I posted a picture of the booth we were going to sit in until my wife noticed how dirty it was. Looks like dry food, or a kid wiped his nose on it? I’m not really sure. I think it was both.
I told an employee the tables needed cleaning and she cleaned one table top and disappeared. Another employee came out, and my wife and I both told him how filthy the restaurant is and about my salad. He apologized and disappeared too, like Casper the Ghost.
I had the asian sesame chicken salad, and it was awful. The chicken tasted like it was boiled. I posted a picture of it.
Before leaving, my wife told several employees behind the front counter how filthy dirty it is and that they should be ashamed of themselves. How did they respond. . . like they were shocked
