I do not make a habit of posting reviews but in this case, I felt it is warranted.
You should never reprimand an employee in front of customers. On 3/4/26 I visited this location during the lunch hour. There was a young man of special needs working hard to keep the dining areas clean. The manager on duty reprimanded him, and not so nicely, about removing trash in front of customers. He was working so hard and was doing a great job. It was also apparent, how much pride he took in his work.
I just believe this to be unprofessional and you can tell, how hurt this man was after his talking to. In addition, this same manager was complaining to her staff about having to spend hours in the meeting room for ongoing education. This is also not something the customers should be hearing about. I hope a session on how to treat employees and how to behave professionally was part of the e-learning classes she was taking today.
Let’s hold onto people who take pride in their work, instead of belittling them. There may be a backstory to this, but it does not matter…..what matters is that this manager behaved badly and exhibited behavior that should not be permitted in a leadership role.

Panera is one of my daughters’ favorite places to eat lunch and the location on Hilliard Rome Rd doesn’t disappoint. Our order is always correct and tastes fresh. The staff are friendly. Very occasionally if they are busy the tables are dirty, but typically it’s easy to find a clean one. When I was in nursing school, my study group met here frequently. There are many tables with charging stations and the atmosphere is generally quiet.

I’ve had breakfast here on a recent Friday and a Saturday. It had a very peaceful and relaxing atmosphere both times.

I ordered a turkey avocado BLT the sandwich was thrown together thrown in the bag. I gave them a tip. They gave me a poor service and horrible food service. The food looks horrible. I won’t be back. Nor would I advise anybody to come to this location? Not to mention they do not give you what you pay for the quality of food is horrible

Had a issue with an order. I approached an employee, manager (I hope) Her name tag looked like KM or Ki. Later found it was Kim. She fixed my food, personally I think. I never stop at Panera but WOW. I will definitely be exploring this chain closer. I live in Marysville Ohio but the Hilliard location seems to have it great. Hope Kim is the Manager up here.

Dirty, young teenager employees talking and laughing and not taking orders, full trash cans, dirty tables, cooks throwing trash over the head backwards trying to make the trash can, whispering and laughing about customers… come on Panera… I know you can do better.
The posted photo was taken when only three customers were in the restaurant and this cabinet stayed this way as employees walked past for around 20 minutes. It was still that way when I left.

Food was hot. Portions are fair. The salads are fresh. There isn’t much to complain about. I LOVE the cinnamon crunch bagel. Every time.
We were traveling, and Panera is a trusted pull off for clean bathrooms, fair prices, free water and a spacious inviting dining areas.
This would be a 4, but we ordered an hour before we got there, and waited 20 minutes. I know the world is understaffed… but that’s pushing it.

Bought a spicy chicken sandwich(the one in the commercial with fried pickles) and this is what you get for $10.99, per sandwich. They were also thrown in the bag sideways. Chicken was also extremely dry, like it had been sitting under a lamp all day.
We got home and realized they forgot the chips. This was our first time trying Panera and will be our last. Never again.

♀️ ♂️ Wtheck has happened to this Panera location??? The smoked chicken BBQ sandwich that I ordered, only had 2oz. Of meat on the sandwich and bread the size of an appetizer. Panera gouged me for $10 , for this blatant atrocious rip-off a so called sandwich . I should have checked my online order before I left the restaurant. I will NEVER RETURN TO THIS LOCATION . I will also be contacting corporate to get my money back. AVOID THIS LOCATION!! It’s gone down the toilet .
