I have tried time and time again to give this location the benefit of the doubt, however I can no longer do that. I received my sandwich this morning in a delivery order and it was almost completely burnt. In the past i’ve had more incorrect than correct orders, whether that be only getting half a sandwich, or not getting an item I ordered, or a sandwich made wrong or burnt…it’s consistent, especially with the rapid pick up orders. At this point I expect my order to be wrong, which is not what a customer should be expecting. Very disappointed.

Panera-Brannon Crossing Lexington, KY. Drive thru line was long and service very slow on a Tuesday early afternoon. Parking is tight and the parking lot needs repairs. Huge hole in the pavement as you drive around the building. Has been there a long time. Inside store is fairly clean, floors and bathrooms needed to be cleaned. Food is descent. Sprouted grain bagel is fair. Very dry. Coffee is descent but they charged me $2.00 extra to add vanilla to my coffee. Over $5.00 for a small cup of coffee with cream and vanilla. That is more than Starbucks large coffee. Employees are nice but service is slow. Like everyone else, they are shrinking food portions and raising prices. They beat Starbucks for family friendliness atmosphere and comfort. Inside seating far exceeds Starbucks for family time. Better experience for relaxing and family.

Ordered ahead and ate on the large patio out front. It was a bit loud since it’s a really busy mall area but that’s not Panera’s fault of course. The food was good and the few custom changes we had were done properly. No issues at all, a nice experience.

The food is usually good and consistent. But the restaurant was dirtier than it should be at 8:30am. On the day I last visited, the staff seemed to have a lot of idle time on their hands. Time that would have been better spent making the customer experience better. It matters. Maybe Panera in general needs to reinvent itself if it’s too late.

I really dislike Panera because of the price. I was invited to join some people there, or else I never would’ve set foot inside the premises. I got a breakfast sandwich and a cup of soup, which cost $15, and didn’t fill me up. I still haven’t figured out the allure of this place. Maybe if you come for just a coffee and a bagel it’s more affordable. I don’t know. I’m not going to go back and find out. I’d rather go to First Watch or Frisch’s, or Bob Evan’s, or even McDonald’s. Boo to Panera.

Great food. I think very overpriced. The bear claw type pastries they have are the best. I can say their soups and Mac n cheese is always piping hot…for 30 mins or more after leaving drive thru. Just wished it wasn’t so expensive.
