My visit to Panera Bread on Cherry Blossom Way in Georgetown left me with a mixed experience. While I appreciate the cozy and welcoming atmosphere that Panera always offers, I was disappointed to find that they were out of both dark roast and light roast coffee options. Finally tried the new chicken sandwich. I loved it! The edges are crispy which I thought was interesting. The chicken was very moist. I switched the lettuce for spinach and added tomatoes with extra aioli. The grilled cheese was way thicker than I thought it would be but it was good. I added cucumbers and boiled egg to my Greek salad. I also tried the new Mango Yuzu Citrus Charged Lemonade and it was sweet all by itself which was shocking.

There was only a scant teaspoon of chicken salad with almonds on my sandwich. I went up to complain and they just shut me up by saying they have a scoop to measure it with! Well, if that is the case the scoop is too small. I want the sandwich spread to at least since 3/4 is the sandwich if not so if it. I will NOT be back. I am so disappointed in the quality of food and the workers!

Quality at this location sub par…. Over and over and over again we’ve tried going back… Sad to say but better to go to local gas station or fast food and pay half and get similar quality…. Plus with the issues I’ve had Panera has been contacted and they’ve done nothing to resolve the issues at hand….

Today something happened to me, which in my opinion should take into account those young people who work in the establishment, I arrived after 4 minutes and I asked him to please send me a tea, and they told me that they could not because they were already closed, with all in the window, I think they should have a little more empathy with the costumes.

Food is good, but dining room is filthy! Most of the tables were not clean, floor had food crumbs all over, and dirty dishes were stacked up! No wonder the drive-thru is packed. I won’t be coming back until it gets cleaner.
