It’s a good place to grab some quick bites! The food is good and healthier comparing to many other places around this area. I suggest to check your stuff if you are getting pick up or to go food. I had experience with missing or wrong items. People there work hard, even though once a while you get somebody who was apparently in bad mood; the management is professional.

So idk if he’s the manager or not but he really thinks he’s funny. I order a bagel sliced and slightly toasted well he tried to say it was slightly toasted the left side I would believe but the right naw cuz both ar hard as a rock to where someone with no teeth can’t eat it cuz the outside of it hurts their gums do to been hard for then the replacement is soft and he swears it went in the toaster

I came here for a lunch when I needed it the most. I am sick, and had just run out of food at home. So, with a single objective in mind, I sought Panera for their most wholesome menu item: I *needed* the wild rice chicken soup. Sadly, I didn’t get this soup, and received wild rice lies instead.

I ordered through the drive thru. When ordering, I saw wild rice chicken soup was not listed on the menu. Concerned for my mission, I asked the gentleman taking my order if it was available. He said yes! So I proceeded to order, and even got a 2 for one in case my stomach could handle the extra sandwich, and he rung me up. Upon payment, he did not repeat my order, but I didn’t care. All I could think about in that moment was the wild rice soup.

He then handed me a broccoli cheddar. At this, I knew I had to clarify, “I’m sorry, I asked for wild rice at the speaker. Do you all have it?” The employee said they were out of stock. I was devastated, as I did not get what I believed I had paid for, and I wouldn’t have ordered at all if they didn’t have the soup.

Admittedly, I’ve gotten emotional over this. I wanted the wrong to be righted, and for others seeking the wild rice to not be mislead if this employee made the same mistake. I wanted a sign on the menu that said clearly there was no wild rice soup to be found here. So, after returning home, I called the store manager. When I explained the situation, he said they *did* have the soup in stock. This only added to my negative emotions, as it wasn’t a simple mistake the drive through employee made, I was also lied to. Thankfully, the manager did offer to swap out my soup, but I had already returned home 20 mins away, and it was not worth the ache while being sick to drive back out.

I understand how difficult the lunch rush can be, and I have had many pleasant meals at this location before, but I was extremely let down by this encounter. I don’t understand why the drive through employee lied about having the soup in stock. If he had been honest, I would have simply gone inside then to swap my order, as I did not want to hold him or the drive thru line up. I appreciate the gesture of the manager, and understand that this was likely a simple mistake, but my trust has been broken.

I will not be returning to this location.

i’m 50/50 on this particular order. the chicken roma and mac n cheese is my favorite meal to get. the mac n cheese is always perfect, and the bagel was pretty good, could definitely use more green goddess dressing. i’m writing this review to say that although the food was good, i was disappointed that i didn’t receive napkins, utensils, or my french bag side.

Overall this is a grade Panera Breas location. For literal years now, I have visited this one on my way to my favorite fish store.
Always very clean. My friendly staff can get very cluttered at times but that’s what you get being next to the city. Overall it’s always a pleasant just in the food has been good.

So I have had issues with this store so often. I always think maybe it’ll be different the next time and maybe I caught some workers on a bad day. But this is my limit. I’ve been sick and I thought maybe I’d enjoy some Panera with my family so I bought my whole family food. But when I called, the manager had the worst possible attitude with me and that was not the first time she had caught some sass with me. And I was patient and I thought maybe I’ll just wait and see how the food turns out (I called so that I could update my order and the special instructions because I had forgotten to. That’s my fault. She was not happy that I called and I felt so disrespected all because I asked that I slightly change one small thing about my order that would take no more than five seconds of their time) and then she hung up on me and proceeded to do exactly what I asked her not to do. ON PURPOSE!! I asked for light sauce, my food is drenched in sauce, I asked for my lettuce to not be cooked. It was cooked and soggy at the same time? I got rock solid avocado. And the kicker? I didn’t get chicken on my sand-which. They replaced my chicken with extra cheese. Did they think I wasn’t going to notice that my sandwich that literally has chicken in the name wasn’t going to have chicken On it, and it was just cheese? Plus the soggy tomatoes to top it all off. My mom’s food was also soggy, but the Food that turned out the best that still wasn’t even that great was the food that didn’t have any modifications on it. It’s like they’re spiting people Who put modifications on their food. I don’t have photos of everyone else’s food because they ate it anyways, but I’ve been feeling sick and wanted to enjoy food and this would upset my stomach even more than it already is.
Best believe I have called headquarters, got a refund and gave the location and the exact details of my past experience and the things that transpired with my order today. Never been so disgusted by the behavior of a store. And believe me, I’m the type that if my order got messed up even by accident I’ll usually eat it anyways because I feel bad sending things back. But this has happened way too many times and I’m not gonna spend $100 on crappy food that I can’t even eat and not get my money back. No thank you.
GO TO THE PANERA IN MIDDLETOWN!!!!!
I promise you there are so many better stores than this, do not take my experience and judge all of Panera. There’s always one bad apple in a bunch.

Wide selection of soups, salads, and sandwiches—all locations.
I have experienced very friendly service on multiple visits—this location.
Recently updated dining area—looks great!
⛔️ Many items appear healthy, but the saturated fat, sugar, and salt will sneak up on you—all locations.

Always a good spot to catch up on work with a quick bite. The new chicken sandwich was surprisingly delicious! The service was good but the dining room needed a little cleaning.

Have been going to this panara for years. Sometimes you can tell they are under staffed. I normally go into the restaurant and not through the drive thru. Today I went through the drive thru because I have a broken left foot.
I ordered a chicken Caesar salad and a green tea. $15 dollars worth of food. I got my green tea and they told me to pull around to the #1 drive thru spot and they would have it out in a “jiff”.
I waited 15 min for just the salad. When I got my self out of the car and made it into the building the workers looked at me like I was crazy because I was asking for my food. I assume the manager is whom handed me the food and said oh crap I’m so sorry. I grabbed the food off the counter and said I will never return. He said have a great day!
Ever since I broke my foot I understand the convenience of the drive thru and something more better for me than other fast food chains. Unfortunately this left a bad taste
In my mouth

So I get home and the pictures are the salad I waited for. Will never return!
