Haven’t been to one of these for awhile. I still like the way the place is designed. Keeps the noise down and gives you a warm cozy feeling.

I was sad that they didn’t have roast beef anymore. We opted for the cheesesteak and the French dip.

The onions on my cheesesteak ruined my sandwich. There is a such thing of too sweet.

My creamy rice soup had a bad taste. I think it went bad.

With those problems we still enjoyed what we could. We will give them another try.

When first arriving at the Restaurant, I had to wait 20mins for a person to take my order. After ordering however I noticed just how the dirty the kitchen and the place is. It is an absolutely disgusting atmosphere with there being a mess everywhere. The drink station was moldy, sticky, and just overall has not been cleaned. Taking a look where the food was being made. There were things everywhere being thrown around and completely disorganized. When receiving my food for take out, the bag was half ripped and the sticker to close the bag was almost off making it difficult to seal it. Just overall this place is not worth the very high price it charges for its food. Like $14 for a sandwich?!?!! Are you kidding me .

I go to Panera a lot (I’m part of the sip club), and I’ve been to plenty of locations, but I’ve honestly never seen a drink station this dirty. There’s a sour smell, you can see mold, and it just feels like a health hazard. I don’t know how this would pass inspection. I even snapped a quick photo to show what I mean. Please, this place really needs to be deep-cleaned and maintained, it’s not what I expect from Panera, (but who knows)

Before I explain how Panera just ruined everything with this terrible new location and cold, uninviting layout, let me say that the staff at this location is amazing! Absolutely love the crew – they do a great job and put the customer first with excellent service and warm smiles! The food is also delicious (but overpriced for the small portions – still, Panera has lately been working on that, and items like the Bagel stack sandwiches are definitely a step in the right direction, because they taste wonderful, are a good, hearty size and are very reasonably priced). BUT whatever genius at corporate came up with the new “open dining” concept for Panera needs to be fired! The new location has absolutely none of the charm and atmosphere that make you want to sit down and eat at Panera. The closest thing I can compare it to is an airport cafeteria! People are forced to almost sit on top of each other, stare at each other (I’m not talking about the people you came to dine with – I’m talking about the complete stranger whose chair is butted up against yours…). The lighting is bright and harsh. The decor is some type of modern art? And the coffee now comes from one of those stupid machines that “fresh brews” which sounds ok at first, but it literally takes 3-4 minutes per person, and you can’t control the amount of coffee it pours out (besides a generic selection of small/medium/large). People are backed up in long lines waiting… If I could have given the atmosphere a lower rating, I would have. It’s that bad. The only reason we will continue to go is because we really enjoy the staff that much, and the food and sip club are delicious. But we won’t be staying and dining in. We may spend more time in Culver’s just down the street, where they have booths for customers to enjoy some privacy while eating. It’s such a shame. The best part about Panera has always been the warm, cozy vibe you get from the soft earth tones, relaxed lighting, non-linear seating with booths and cubbies for you to melt into. That’s all gone. My only hope is enough local customers complain loudly enough that the owners do something drastic before we all start spending our money elsewhere.

As a sips club member, I love this place! The food is always good, the people are so friendly here and it’s conveniently close to my home. It can get a bit noisy in there when it’s busy but it doesn’t keep me from going here. Keep up the great work Panera staff!

I walked in and it took a long while for a worker to come to the front counter to take my order. I stood waiting for my food for over 20 minutes at a time in which the store did not even appear to be busy. When I received my food, my name was spelled incorrectly (repeated it 3x to the individual taking my order), the bag was ripped, the top to my hot drink was broken as well, drink spilled over on top of the lid, and the items looked like they were thrown inside. Upon looking behind the front counter, the kitchen was extremely dirty and even caught comments from the attention of other customers. The bathrooms were absolutely filthy, and frankly a hazard, with liquids and toilet paper all over the floors. Overall, this experience was very unpleasant. No customer should have to pay for this and it is safe to say I will no longer be eating at this Panera location.

I’m not sure why this location is inheriting the reviews from the former location, because this is an entirely different location and experience. We used to come every week to the former location because of the quiet relaxed atmosphere. Panera used to have the atmosphere of a Starbucks, that chill, come-stay-a-while quiet ambiance, but in Quick Service Restaurant format. That is no longer the case with this new location. In their corporatizing, the decision-makers for this location have distilled away the essence of the Panera experience; it has been reduced to a loud cacophany of overheard guest conversations, loud kitchen machine beeps, and ice dispensers. Panera has forgotten itself. We will not be back.

Drive thru is extremely slow. Waited 10 minutes to order and was asked to move into parking spot and a manager will bring it out . 20 minutes later still nothing. Get out of car and go inside and they still didn’t have to order (2 sandwichs and a small soup) ready. Asked for a manager, manger said they are working on it. Another 10 minute waiting for order. 40min for a drive through order is ridiculous . They should have just stayed at the old location.

I don’t care for the new location. It is too open and feels like a fast food restaurant. It is very loud inside and everyone has to sit close to each other. I hope this is not the direction the franchise is taking. If so it’s disappointing. The vibe is way off.

The best Panera I’ve been to in a LONG time! Employees were happy and fast. Bread was WARM!! crispy on the outside and soft on the inside.

It’s rare to find a Panera with good bread, but this one had it.
