On my way into work this morning, I ordered a large coffee and a large green goddess salad to go. I waited over 10 minutes for my order to be filled, even though I was the only person in the drive through line. Several workers walked by the window where I was waiting and didn’t come to see what I needed. Finally, I knocked on the window and told them I thought my salad order had been forgotten because I was waiting over 10 minutes for it. They finally gave it to me and I zoomed off to work. When it was time for lunch, I noticed the chicken was processed and had fatty, crunchy parts in it. There was no avocado in the salad either, which is my favorite part. I am terribly disappointed. I don’t think I will ever go to this Panera again, even though it is in such a convenient location.

First time going to New Smyrna location and it will definitely be the last. I only ordered two breakfast items and took for ever to get my food and when I got it I was very disappointed! The bread was burnt. Will not be returning.

Got catering from here, the morning of they called before I picked it up to see if I wanted to switch it to catering to make sure that I had enough utensils and items for serving to a group. It was already packaged up in a large bag for easy carry, including the coffee, exactly on time. I could not be more pleased with the service, food was great as well. Will be using this location whenever possible!

Only giving half the stars since we only got half of the things we ordered. We ordered pick up and it did not go very well.
We Ordered 2 soups in bread bowls and we didn’t even get the bread bowls. One of the soups was French onion and it was just the broth no toppings.
Also, We didn’t receive our Southwest salad and we did not get any dip for our “dipping” sandwich.
Typically Panera has great cookies that we look forward to. But the pumpkin sugar cookie was iced on the bottom (weird?)and it was burnt. I am pretty sure that’s why it was iced on the bottom, because it was burnt. [See Picture attached]

DRIVE-THRU WAIT TIME IS ATROCIOUS!!! Been here on several occasions and ALWAYS waiting too long in Drive-Thru. I do mobile order pickups and same thing every time! Also what makes me the most angry about the wait time is that this Panera Bread has 2 Drive-Thru holding spots in front of the restaurant. WHY ARE YOU NOT USING THESE HOLDING SPOTS? Isn’t that what there for, to not hold up your Drive-Thru. Especially if I have a mobile order to pick-up! DO BETTER PANERA! Your food is already SOOOO Expensive! Don’t let this ALSO be your downfall!

What Panera should be
Panera finally comes to nsb and hits it out of the park! This Panera has self order with photos (very helpful!) Little buzzers to let you know when it’s ready, and very helpful staff going around and making sure everyone gets their order. The layout is much more cafe-like compared to other Paneras and it’s much better.
The food is as always great and not too overpriced, fresh ingredients and tastes great!
My only complaint is that the outdoor seating for some reason is ALWAYS facing the loud road when it should be on the other side sheltered by the building.

My experience at this location has not been positive lately. The soda machine has been out of order- the BUBBLY flavor has been faulty for a number of days now. I’m not sure if it gets checked. There are no other sugar free options. BOTH restrooms were out of order today. Unsatisfactory

This store has to be the slowest Panera I have ever been to. They are never busy but it somehow always takes 15 minutes to get your food. Whoever that manages this store needs to get this store up to speed and work on efficiency. Take note from other local stores on how to make this place better! We live right down the street and would like to continue visiting your restaurant but the service is awful.
