The Manager (Sara or Sarah) is top knotch. Her customer service and willingness to assist is top tier and I highly recommend this location. I ALWAYS enjoy the food and even when mistakes occur (because we’re human) she takes accountability and goes above and beyond. This is not only the expectation of most all companies but it is a rarity in people. She is an excellent leader and role model for the associates to look to.

Usually busy but that’s expected. I only eat the broccoli and cheese soup from here. It’s my absolute favorite. Some days it is amazing. Then other days it’s just awful. My recommendation to anyway getting that soup to go, check it before you leave. No one wants the reheat soup from the previous day, that’s all burned and looking nasty. Get a fresh bag of soup out and heat it up. I was a General Manager for some time in this area. I understand how the food cost and inventory go. But I would never approve nasty looking, burnt, day old soup to be served. Sometimes you just need to take the loss on your weekly food costs. If they would get the B&C soup issue under control, I’d have no other issue. Just some food for thought to local management and to district management. Thanks!

I normally don’t review chain locations like this but this was honestly a little disappointing. The service was awful. I understand it’s New Year’s Day, but the workers (save for one very polite man) were all apathetic and a little depressed. They were very monotone when conversing with my family, making me feel as if there was an inconvenience simply with my presence. It was very unwelcoming. I ordered a broccoli cheddar soup in a bread bowl with chips (as I was expecting to receive bread already as the bowl) but AFTER placing the order was when I was informed there was no bread bowls. I was unable to change out the order and received no bread. Disappointing, but even more, they refused to compensate with an extra side of baguettes. A little unfair, but we paid for extra bread anyways (which was sadly doughy and floury, just generally underbaked). The overall impression here was that the workers didn’t care much for service, rather just collecting a paycheck. There was no green tea, though we were charged for some. The dispenser was empty and the sign completely gone. The bread was slightly burned (and as stated above, somehow underbaked as well??). The place was pretty empty, and for some reason it felt too empty and somber. It gave vibes of “you just walked in someplace you shouldn’t have”. Overall I feel that the workers act as though my family’s purchases were an inconvenience, and we felt unwelcome. I hope those people find a little peace over the weekend, as they clearly need it. Shoutout the very friendly tall male worker. Probably the only friendly person in this place.

My husband and I went to The Villages for a free concert at the square. We got dinner there before the concert started at Panera Bread that is a very convenient for concert attendees and within walking distance to the square.
We ordered a Turkey sandwich with a soda for the drink. The chips were offered free with the purchase of a sandwich. The sandwich was freshly made and it was delicious, the only problem was that it had a lot of spicy mustard on it, we both would have liked a little less and have it more evenly spread on the bread.
The restaurant was clean and had a pleasant atmosphere. The sandwich was quickly made. The price of the sandwich and soda was was a little higher than expected.
They also had quite a few different desserts options that looked amazing, but being on a strict diet we didn’t try any of the cookies, cupcakes or croissants.
I would recommend this restaurant to my family and friends.

In the past, I would have given a higher rating. Today, I discovered that the egg soufflés have shrunk.
I mean they tasted good, but the value has gone down as the price came up over the years.
I do like the coffee and hot tea options and ice tea is always good (used to be better). Also a drop of one of the teas, peach I think, is now gone.
The other thing is, my wife is gluten free. To know what she can order practically requires a college education (which she has). They don’t make it easy to understand that menu. Wish it was opening available to read.

On my way to a belated family Christmas gathering, we decided on a whim to stop by Panera for bagels for the family. When ordering, I was told that for the future, I NEED to call in dozen bagel orders the day before. I was also lectured on how I need to specifically order by name of item if I want cream cheese with my bagels. There is a big difference between ordering “dozen” and “pack” of bagels.
While I understand these details, who wants to be told how they need to do things as a consumer?
Anyway, Panera is overrated. Find a local mom & pop shop that will be so glad to serve your bagel cravings. There’s a charm about mom & pop shops that big corporate companies clearly don’t care to obtain.

Food tasted great. Service was absolutely crap. I ordered a kids grilled cheese and my son wanted a kids grilled cheese with bacon. They told me they couldn’t do that. I asked can I just have a side of bacon and they said no. They said I could only order an adult grilled cheese with bacon.
The kids grilled cheese and the adults grilled cheese are THE SAME size! Only they charge you an extra $2 for the same size sandwich. I could’ve put the bacon on a kids grilled cheese myself. The manager was so rude about it too.
Cashier was Edeth and rolled her eyes when I asked if I could just order the bacon as a side item.
Time: 3:27:32pm. 12/27/2024 Order number 160270
Pictures included both kids grilled cheese and the adult grilled cheese.
If they are going to treat their guests like this there is no point in coming. Spend your money elsewhere.

Was in Pannera at Spanish Springs in The Villages today. Customer had a small dog wandering throughout the restaurant- no leash, constantly scratching ( for fleas?). NOT A SERVICE DOG because it wandered up to people sniffing them and never stood alongside its owner as a service dog would do. Management did nothing even though the manager personally served him. Very unsanitary. Not the 1st time this happened inside this restaurant.

During my visit this morning there was a customer who brought in a dirty looking small dog. No leash and walking around inside sniffing people, the owner did not seem concerned about where and what the dog was doing.
I observed a person completing their order at the counter. As they turned to walk away they tripped on the dog , who had wandered directly behind him, and almost fell to the floor.
Not one employee did anything to have the inconsiderate person leave the store. As a matter of fact, this person apparently had trouble with his order and stood there trying to get his order corrected while his dog wandered around. Also, the dog was constantly scratching (probably fleas).
When I said something to one of the employees, she
Said she did not see the dog, which is doubtful since everyone nearby was commenting. Absolutely not a service dog.
