Worst Panera I have ever visited. Essence and another worker and “friend” were chatting when we walked into this dirty establishment after stopping on our way home from vacation. We waited for a bit to be acknowledged as we didn’t want to interrupt their engaging conversation. During our short wait for food and sitting to eat we noticed even more trash and stains around the restaurant while Essence and friends chatted, showed each other videos and talked about fights. Meanwhile a worker (with blue hair) was behind the cash register and food area wearing a non-Panera uniform and fed another worker a cookie from his mouth to hers. The “chef” looked miserable and gave all the guests mean looks. I am so thankful this is not our home restaurant. This location gives Panera as a brand a bad reputation.

I wish I had read the reviews before going here. Worst restaurant experience I’ve had in a while. The eating area was filthy, not a clean table in site, so I ordered my food to go. They were out of almost every bread and several other ingredients. Their specialty drinks were also out and the machines looked like they had never been cleaned.

I haven’t exactly been a fan of Panera for some time now. WAY to expensive for subpar food. But this morning I was next to one and looking for breakfast, so I figured I’d give it a try. I don’t have any issue with the coffee, I actually like their coffee. But I got an egg and cheese on ciabatta. Got home and opened it up to find that it’s essentially a hamburger bun today. Unbelievable. The service was awful, the staff is rude, hardly makes any eye contact and, when they do, it looks like they don’t exactly like me if you know what I mean. I was as kind to each person as I could be, smiled, spoke with them, and just got blank stairs the whole morning. That’s the final straw, I will not be back.

I live in Phoenix and I travel for work all over the country. I frequent this particular Panera often because of a local project in working on, and when I say this is the worst Panera I’ve ever been to, I mean it is the absolute worst Panera. Customer service is at an all time low. Cashier was friendly, but that’s where it ends. Every single time (literally every time) I order here the food is delivered not as ordered. Often it’s not even delivered as advertised! I’ve probably visited this Panera 20+ times, because I’m a glutton for punishment I guess, but this time finally broke the camel’s back. All the negative reviews so far I’ve read are true, dirty, poor customer service, garbage all over the trash cans and around the tables, you have to clean the tables, and the food whole good, is expensive for poorly prepared and minor servings. This trip I got the chipotle avocado sandwich, there’s no cheese, a tiny slice of avocado, and the red peppers are falling off our barely seen.

I ordered 3 bagels; they were supposed to be cinnamon crunch but had pieces of onion mixed in the batter. When I called back, the manager acted as though she didn’t believe me & just said thanks for letting us know.
