I thought a bowl would be much larger. This looks like a cup of tomatoe soup. Keep in mind. The bread is my free item. So, I paid, 8.55 for a bowl of tomatoe soup that is now put in the size of what use to be a cup of soup. Or has this always been the size of a bowl of soul at Panera Bread. I come to this location all the time for the broccoli and cheese soup and the bowl for some reason, seems larger. Perhaps, I am wrong but, the price of this bowl, oh, I mean, cup of tomatoe soup, won’t get another swipe of my bank card. I would normally be happy and my stomach would be statisfied. It didn’t even, come with a small drink. Please tell me, why you guys, put the bread in the bag, without covering it in clear wrap or a napkin. So, hands touch the outside of the cups, then you guys expect the customers to be happliy contaminated. What happened to wrapping the utensils in napkins. Come on now. We pay for the convince of grabbing something fast to eat and I for one, appreciate the fact that we have people still willing to work in fast food resturants, with all the craziness, going on in this messy world. But, enough is enough of popular chains, jumping on the bandwagon, to raise prices, that don’t need to, they just choose to want to. Panera, your chain is everywhere. Like you guys are hurting for money. This location is not even that old. If you were going that broke, why continue to open more resturants, verses closing doors, to stores. The quality of food is good. The tomatoe taste good. My problem is not with the quality, it is with the price, for quanity. I will return, when you guys offer a bowl of soup that is, in all honesty a bowl of soul. And not that little cup of soup. Like, your customers are too stupid to know. Please to make up any excuses because a cup is a cup and bowl is a bowl. Period. Just do the right thing, by the cosumers who pay to keep you open. I am not even sorry. I don’t have one once of conviction in my heart for my comment. Jesus, must approve of this message. I’m just saying.

I have held off reviewing this store for a while because it’s pretty new. However it seems like the issues we’ve had are endemic to this location.
Every time we’ve been there, there has been something gross. Standing water, flies, bathroom issues, etc. The service is usually pretty decent when you can get it. Panera has turned largely to a model where you don’t interact with people. You enter your order into a computer and it appears at the window. Makes the service hard to review.
Finally, the food is very mixed. Portion sizes at Panera have shrunk, and the classic asiago cheese bagel has about a third of the cheese on it that it usually used to. See picture.
It’s a decent location, and the people are nice, but the negatives are adding up for Panera.

We stopped at the Harrisburg location on 49. Very nice & clean facility. All the employees were friendly, welcoming & polite. The wait for our food was minimal. Now, I had the Chicken Noodle Soup & 1/2 sandwich. My sandwich was the new toasted Chicken Bacon Ranch on Ciabatta roll. Everything was very good, my only disappointment was I wish my Chicken Noodle Soup would of looked like the Chicken Noodle Soup on their website, nice and full of noodles & chicken. Mine was mostly broth noodles, little chicken and more carrots than I care for. Still it tasted good, but that what dropped it to a 4 on food. Wish they would have a 4.5 rating, but we have to work with what they got. My wife had the toasted 1/2 Philly Cheese Steak on a ciabatta roll & the French Onion Soup. No complaints on her end. Everything was good. Sorry no photos, I was really hungry, so my hunger took priority over photography.

I’ve been to many Panera Bread locations but after living in the Harrisburg/Concord area for a couple years, and watching it be built, I decided to give this location a visit. I mostly wanted to buy a focaccia loaf and a few pastries but while I was there I decided to also get a cup of soup. I wanted to order at the kiosk but the focaccia loaf was unavailable to order. There were probably 8 loaves in their food case so I had to stand in line to order which was decently long. I was told by the employee that after 10 am, the system automatically marks out the focaccia loaf which is why I couldn’t order it on the kiosk. This sounds like missed sales opportunities to me because that means people can’t order it on mobile or delivery either. If that’s all I needed on my visit I probably wouldn’t have waited in line. The pastries were delicious and my focaccia loaf was fresh but I was unhappy with the temp and consistency of my soup.
This is where my rating goes down. When I ordered at the cash register, I was helped by a young man who was very kind and helpful and asked all the right questions. It’s obvious he is fairly new to working and to the company but his customer service skills are wonderful for a person of his age. He was supposed to get my loaf and pastries after he took my order and hand them to me at the register but it was extremely busy and he had forgotten. When my soup was ready I mentioned I also ordered pastries and a loaf. The female manager was not apologetic to me. She made a sour face, stopped what she was doing and immediately went over to the employee. She took him aside and without motivation or empathy she reemed him about his mistake. He nodded his head and got back to work with the same good attitude. After she collected my items and got them ready to hand off, I asked if he was a newer employee and I also told her what good customer service skills he had for a younger person. She didn’t want to listen to a word I said. She didn’t thank me for my compliment or even try to smoothe out the obvious uncomfortability. You could tell she was extremely upset with him. She said something to the affect of he’s not new. He knows what he’s supposed to do. She didn’t have half the customer service skills this young man had. I was kind of disappointed. There’s a Panera Bread close to where I work and I will just continue to visit that location instead of this one even though I live right on the border of Harrisburg and Concord.

Great location. This recently opened. The layout is awesome. The staff is friendly. The food is good. We felt very safe in this area. This is a much better location then the one in university area. There is nice tables to eat outside. We will be coming to this one more often. I like the ambiance of this new style building. They do have self service and rapid pick up but you can also order with a person.

Food is good as usual but the pickup line is poorly designed. There’s drive-thru and rapid pickup lines merge into a single line. There is a sign on the drive-thru side asking drivers to kindly allow the rapid pickup folks to merge. It should really be on the other side. Good luck getting the rapid pickup folks to let you merge from the drive-thru line.

I rate the Panera Bread (Harrisburg, NC) location, a five star based on the wonderful CUSTOMER SERVICE and delicious food (which is perfect every time I order). I always choose this location for my catering needs because the staff is very attentive and my order is always prepared in a timely manner. I especially appreciate the manager, Jami – her kindness, professionalism, and willingness to go over and beyond for her customers make her a top-notch team leader!,

There is no way this is a “whole salad.” This will be my last time purchasing from this location. Although I’ve said this before, I absolutely mean it this time.
