The slowest of the slow. I came here for the first time months ago and sat in the drive thru for a while just to place my order. Pulled up to the window and still waited. Mind you I was the ONLY ONE in the drive thru. I ended up driving off and going to Cook Out. I came this morning and nothing has changed. I sat in the drive thru AGAIN…nobody was in front of me. I finally had to say “Hello” before anybody said anything. Took my order, I pulled around and the person who had already been waiting at the window when I pulled up was still waiting. It took about 15 minutes for that entire experience. The person at the window seemed to be on her own time.

Wanted and ordered warm comfort soup bread bowl and hot tea. What i received was room temp soup in paper bowl because no bread bowls and i guess no way to keep soup hot. Baguette was good as was tea. My daughter ordered specific sandwich with specific toppings and her sandwich was almost completely opposite of what she ordered. The smoothie tasted like a cool strawberry yogurt in a panara cup with a straw.

I’ve been going to this location since 2018. It has slowly gone down hill. The wait times at the drive thru have increased exponentially, the food is now sloppily thrown together, the drive thru staff forgets items you ordered, they don’t have my order sorted out when I get to the window when I’m the only one in the drive thru so that means they’re either new, inexperienced, or distracted (seems like all 3). It’s just not a good experience anymore

This is actually the worst one I’ve ever been to. What do you mean the app says my order is ready and it is never sitting out there and u have to wait 5 more minutes? And how come yall always find the rudest employees to hire who are miserable every time I go in there? And also why does the drive through take 20 minutes every single time? I canceled my duo club membership today because I genuinely can’t go back there and deal with their BS again. I’ve tried so many times because of free coffee but yall manage to ruin my morning every time

Even though they have no gluten-free offerings, there were a number of good choices. Corporate emphasis is on healthful eating, for which they provide well, including specialty herbal teas as well as sophisticated coffee blends. We experienced a little mix-up in our order, mainly because, with the masks on, clear hearing is a problem. The manager was on top of it, though, satisfying us generously and completely, without our asking. Staff in general were friendly, helpful. The young person who initially took our order actually came outside on the patio to apologize for the mix-up, which was, for me, a real heads-up action, left me with an even warmer feeling for the place.
Very pleasant place — peaceful upscale ambiance in a low-moderate price range. I love beautiful wood, so I really appreciated their table tops. The landscaping was thoughtfully designed, well executed, as the photos show.
Yes, we recommend Panera Bread of Clemmons!

Today is Jan. 24th 2026. I always go thru the drive thru for food. Today I got a egg & cheese sandwich and a blueberry muffin. The muffin was so hard I couldn’t eat it. The week before I got chicken noodle soup and it had all BROT..what is happening to this place? Plus the young lady was so RUDE Saturday morning that she needs another job . RUDE, RUDE..for the price I pay I want better food that I can eat!!!

This location is always a hit or miss for me. Being allergic to dairy and eggs is really annoying and PB is a great choice for me due to their transparency of ingredients and amazing allergy menu. With that said, I’ve received negligent salads with cheese multiple times even though I told them my allergies when I’m ordering. But regardless, the staff is always pleasant and nice at this location. I just wish they’d pay more attention to people ordering with allergies.

I want to give a shout out for Mahogany. She took our order. She was very kind and gracious. But I watched her go above and beyond to help 2 elderly ladies, 2 of whom was disabled. It restored my faith in humanity. She obviously has a great work ethic. She should be commended for a job well done.

Literally the worst experience at Panera… Ever. I tried to give them a few chances and they are slow every single time I wait in the drive-through for like 10 or 15 minutes every single time. And then I didn’t get a knife for my bagel so I had to sit through the drive-through again and wait.

We don’t come here often but when we do, it’s usually pretty quick. Today there’s a restaurant full of people, no one has their food, there’s 14 orders ahead of ours, and while we wait… we’re sweating because the heat in here is set to 90 degrees. The people working are in slow motion while we all continue to wait for our overpriced soup and sandwiches.
