It’s been several years since I’ve eaten lunch at a Panera and the reason why is their inconsistent quality. They grew too fast, got too wild with their menu and ultimately used to do a very poor job in delivering a quality product. So, this one opened not too long ago and I decided to give it a try.

The verdict – Nothing’s Changed… Still pretty horrible.

I should have known, given the poor reviews I saw about this location, but decided to try it for myself. The lettuce in our salads was wimpy, not crunchy and fresh. The rest of the ingredients were very similar in texture and quality. The chicken in my salad looked odd, almost transparent. The soup I got was a glob of mess, with not much flavor, but loaded with thickener. The baguette they give was good on the inside, but the outside was rubbery, not any form of crunchy.

The lobby needed attention, as when I went to throw away our (1/2 uneaten lunch, as it wasn’t worth the calories), the plate/trash area was piled with plates and has some sort of liquid spilled all over the floor.

Overall – Definitely will be many years before I return for another try.

From the incredible service to the immaculate space and delicious food, I was completely WOWed. This location is operating at the highest level. I was so impressed that I personally thanked the manager and staff after my meal. Keep up the amazing work!

Haven’t been to Panera Bread in years just because we moved further out in the county. Tried the new location and it was great. Service was friendly and fast.

I will say I do not like the change to the bread for the Turkey Bacon Bravo sandwich. It used to be a thicker slice of bread that I thought was heartier when you ordered a full sandwich. Now it’s a thinner or normal slice size but you get essentially two sandwiches when you order a full. Same flavor and I enjoyed it, it was just a change. Honestly it’s probably better for sharing.

Prices have obviously creeped up. Bit over $40 for the two of us to have a sandwich and one side. It was fresh, tasty, and filling so all in all it was a great experience.

The drive thru is nearly impossible to take advantage of. Your best bet is to order on the app and pickup. This is the most painful part of trying to enjoy Panera.

Last picture is the way I remember the sandwich 🙂

PS I grabbed salt out of habit, you really don’t need any salt.

Note to self: “Stop going to the South Stafford Panera Bread.” This is at least my 7th or 8th time going through drive-through where my order is wrong, overcharged or missing parts of the order…. This order has no cheese in the French onion soup and no croutons. Also ordered a spicy fiesta chicken sandwich- not a single piece of chicken on the sandwich. I took my fork and scraped to see if any was underneath the cheese corn and sauce- there was none. Better off going inside to order on the North side of Stafford then always getting it wrong in the drive through.
This is an addition to the dry flat cinnamon roll I got a few months back that looks like the school’s grilled cheese.

Dining at this branch was a delightful experience. The dishes were beautifully presented. The staff brought food at our table, and the atmosphere was perfectly cozy and very clean. I’m looking forward to another visit.

I’m not entirely sure what the malfunction is here. But since they opened until this day, they have got to be the slowest Panera I’ve ever encountered in my life. Every single time I come here it’s a long wait and I’m either the only person in line or one person in front of me. It isn’t even like they are busy. Training needs to tighten up. I have zero desire to ever come back because I know I’ll be waiting 15-20 minutes for a sandwich. Food is fine, but so slow.

I really feel like panera in general has fallen off, I’ve visited a handful of their stores and noticed this all the way around. My last visit to this particular store though was on a Sunday afternoon. The place was mostly empty and quiet, fairly clean, and I was greeted promptly by the staff. I ordered my usual fuji chicken salad which came out not as great as usual. It was very light on the greens and toppings but what made it difficult was the chicken was ice cold and not even thoroughly cut. I wasn’t given a knife so I sawed through with my fork. It had the same usual taste but presentation, quantity, and quality was down. Hoping it was just an off day.

Brand new Panera close to Embry Mill and away from the craziness of Garrisonville. Open concept makes it feel larger even though I think it has a smaller dining area. Still, clean and well-lit. We got our food right away. They have self-service kiosks and a drink station, plus all the baked goods you’ve come to expect.

We come to this location very often & today we experienced amazing service from the Manager Cody. He was very kind, attentive & you can tell cares about great customer service. We could see all the customers enjoyed their interactions with him. Great guy! We also wanted to shout out another worker, Gabe. This young man was also very attentive, grabbing dirty dishes, refilling coffee, brought my dad his cup of coffee directly to him, wiped down tables. Great young man. Panera is very lucky to have these two on their team.

I’m sorry but 14 minutes is way too longer of a turn over for a ready-made soup and sandwich.
In 14 minutes I could have gone anywhere else 3 separate times.
If you’re desperate to pay $15 dollars for an average meal, I would recommend ordering ahead.
But regrettably I’d rather go just about anywhere else and spend 5% of the time doing so. Especially on a lunch shift.
Unreal.
