Update: HOW COULD PEOPLE SUCK SO MUCH AT THEIR JOB!!!!??? I have yet to get an order that was done correctly. Today I ordered a Chicken Signature Sandwich…paid extra for the avocado…RESULT: No avocado and they forgot the cheese crisps.

Had been very happy to see Panera opening up in Lorton! Have always been a fan of Panera until we stopped in for a simple order of two bagels, toasted with cream cheese to go. It was 1:20 PM; after the lunch crowd! We stood, waited & watched. Note, we counted nine (9) people performing various tasks. There was also no line to speak of at the drive-up. Finally, at 1:50 I asked the cashier to cancel our order & give me a refund. She disappeared into the back, and we saw her come out to grab a bagel from the case…cannot believe the incompetence and non-apologetic attitude at this location. Unfortunately, we do not even want to spend another dime at this corporate chain. I will miss their soup, salad and bakery, but there are too many other places to give our business to. Instead, I would go across the street, or drive a couple of blocks to Great Harvest Bread on Lorton Station Blvd.

First, I got the wrong order caught it in the drive-through but then I looked at my food and this is what I got. This is the chipotle chicken sandwich with one avocado, and not enough chicken to even cover the bread. This place has not even been open a year and it’s already gone downhill completely.

I tend to order from this location on doordash and unfortunately found a bug in my soup. I didn’t continue going through my soup because it was just so disgusting to find that I immediately lost my appetite. I found it right when I opened my sealed soup. I did contact doordash for a refund but I wanted to let other knows that this happened to me at this location. Hopefully the workers can be made aware of it too and take the proper precautions for a sanitary work environment and proper food handling.

First time I’ve ever walked out of a food joint before ordering. The smell was off upon walking in. Like a mix of dirty mop water and old food. Went to the bathroom and it was a wreck. Women’s sanitary napkins coming out of the trash can, trash everywhere. Stepped out of the bathroom and was slapped in the face with a burning cheese smell. Took a look at the workers, and they all looked dead inside. Just depressing overall. Place has potential though, maybe they’ll improve with time.

The cashier I don’t think could understand English. After ordering (trying) she would ask the same question again and again. I was so irritated with her. She did not even know how to count change back either. It’s people like that that make places good that have self-service.

I’ve never had a good experience at this Panera. There’s always been something wrong with my order each time I’ve visited after a long wait with a mostly empty restaurant. Usually it’s a pretty consistent chain but the quality definitely dips here.

We ordered a half soup and a bowl of chicken noodle. Literally the bowl had no chicken, and maybe three noodles. The half coup had one single piece of chicken, five noodles, and two carrots. This location is very stingy. Never coming back. It’s not worth the money. I rather drive to the location in kingstowne.

I was having some work done at my place and I promised my contractor I would treat him to a sandwich from Panera. He requested the Chipotle Chicken and Avocado sandwich. I ordered the steak and cheese sandwich. We ended up sharing our meal. I enjoyed both sandwiches (I ate 1/2 my sandwich for lunch and 1/2 of his for dinner). Would love to try out all their sandwiches.

Ordered a Turkey avocado BLT pick up and it was completely wrong. No avocado, only small scraps of Turkey, wrong lettuce, and the butt of the bread which isn’t normally a problem BUTT trying to chew through almost all Sourdough crust is hard and hurts.
