Morning crew were a delight every day of my trip here. I’d been to a couple in the area where the workers simply slugged through, but you can tell this crew works well and at least enjoys what they do. They provide an amazing atmosphere to start your day. That and food was always fresh and delicious, and they were on top of the coffee station refills before even needing asking. This staff at this location are aware of the customers and the store conditions. They greet people as the enter, the sitting area was cleaned and stocked multiple times while I was eating my meal, and the bathroom was immaculate. This is honestly the best location in the area. I will be back. Also the seating area is huge, so even though they are situated within a mall area there are plenty of tables.

Ordered a salad and drink on the app for pickup during lunchtime. Arrived a the Panera shop 10 minutes after the stated time but had to wait another 15 minutes for my order to be ready. The restaurant was not full, about 25-30% tables were empty. There were probably 10 people either placing orders or (mostly) waiting for their orders. Not sure if they were understaffed or poorly organized but 25 minutes seemed a long wait on top of the time the app said it would take to be ready.

I ordered through the Panera app and DoorDash had trouble finding my address. Panera in Columbia was phenomenal – they called to find out if I had received my order & even delivered it to me. They also included cookies for the wait time (which was not long at all). So appreciated! Absolutely exceptional customer service! Thank you!!!

Panera is always clutch with good food, plenty of pastry options that look amazing in their displays and free wifi for those that want to have a meeting or work solo. I think I have had more meetings there than gone to just eat but I am always happy after I get a soup and sandwich. The combos are great for the days you don’t want just one thing to eat and the breakfast sandwiches are top notch. Having so many pastry options make it great for the quick fix of hot beverage combo in the morning if your appetite isn’t that large, but all over, you will enjoy it.

I have ordered the Napa Almond Chicken Salad sandwich several times. The first sandwich I picked up had a reasonable quantity of almonds. The last two sandwiches I picked up contained no almonds. I gave them a Mulligan on the first one but complained about the second one. I was disappointed by the manager’s response. She tried to convince me that almonds were on the sandwich but I couldn’t see them and that I should ask for extra almonds. Yes, for a sandwich that has almond in it’s name.

The food is good, but a huge reason I go to Panera is to get work done. There wasn’t an outlet anywhere near me or at any of the open tables. I even sat and waited for a bit to see if someone would get up and there wasn’t an outlet at their tables either. This spot is different from the other Paneras I frequent – far fewer outlets. I know this seems a little silly, but it’s the whole reason I go to Panera… 🙁
