I patronage this Panera Bread whenever I am in the area and need a quick bite. I used to go here very often when I was in nearby Mitchellville, Maryland visiting my dear Great Aunt Hattie who died a few years ago at the age of 99! I always have fond memories of her when I visit this location. I used to bring back her favorite meal from Panera Bread… A bowl of French Onion Soup and French Baguette Bread with butter. Justice was my Cashier and he was pleasant, friendly, and helpful.
For lunch, I ordered “You Pick 2” : 1/2 Bacon Turkey Bravo Sandwich, Bowl of Broccoli Cheddar Soup, French Baguette, Butter and no drink. My meal was quickly prepared, served, and accurate. I sat in the dining room and enjoyed my meal. After eating, I always visit the Home Depot which is in the plaza as I am a “Tool Junkie.” I will continue to patronage this location whenever I am in the area because of their great customer service and the super fond memories of my Aunt Hattie Whigham!

I’ve given this location multiple chances, but the experience never improves. The service is painfully slow—I’ve waited 20-30 minutes for simple orders, even when the restaurant isn’t busy. It’s hard to understand how a sandwich and soup can take that long.
The staff seem disinterested at best and outright rude at worst. On my last visit, I was met with eye rolls when I politely asked about my order status after waiting well past the estimated time.
Most concerning are the cleanliness issues. I’ve seen flies around the food prep and dining areas on more than one occasion. For a restaurant, that’s unacceptable.
I wanted to like this Panera, especially because the location is convenient. But I can’t justify spending my money somewhere that doesn’t prioritize basic customer service or hygiene. I’d recommend finding a different location or skipping this one entirely.

Food is decent (Panera standard, i guess) and i love the hours that they are open for me to do work there but that bathroom is ridiculous. Like, it’s hard to enjoy my food knowing i just left that bathroom. I asked the manager to assist and the dude literally went in there and came right back out…..he is young so i didn’t expect much however, that bathroom was so bad that i would have probably done the same thing. They need to invest in a cleaning service to change the urinal floor mats that are yellow, clean the stall doors which have gunk on the handle and locks that we have to touch, to clean the doors that have build up on it….u get it.

The customer service here was excellent. I made a mistake and instead of modifying an order I placed two orders. The Panera team preemptively called me and worked it all out. The food was excellent and plenty of cups plates napkins and utensils were offered.

I’ve been visiting Panera for years, and I order the same each time, so I know by now how the food looks. Food was extremely disappointing today; half-empty cafe-latte, side bread wasn’t served in either of the two orders, and I got an over-priced half-sandwich accompanied by a string of hair, as you can see in the photos. When I told the “barista” about the coffee, she said cafe-lattes are only 16 ounces and the cup was too big and that’s why it was half-full. “Sorry,” she said. Funny how the bottom of the cup says it fills 16 ounces, yet I got 8. Terrible experience today. $30 on terrible food overall.

Their food is usually good and consistent, but they missed the mark today. I ordered through UberEats and everything went smoothly with the order delivery and my UberEats delivery person. However, upon my first sip of my broccoli cheddar soup, my front tooth was met with a small piece of glass… I am only noting this in case another similar issue arises later.
I moved on to my chocolate chip cookie and chicken chipotle sandwich inly for the sandwich to be sloppy and the cookie extremely stale.

I placed an order for ~30 bagels the morning of 1/25/2025 to provide breakfast at a conference event. The staff there were kind and punctual, the order being ready to pickup right on time. However, I should have opened the bag prior to leaving the restaurant – upon opening the bag, we noticed all of the bagels were molded. In addition, a roach was seen in the bag that we had to kill. My concern, besides the obvious risk of foodborne illness/cleanliness, is that because I ordered the bagels to be toasted, that hopefully the staff weren’t trying to use the toasting to mask older bagels. Would recommend in the future always checking the food prior to leaving the restaurant.

I am writing to express my significant disappointment regarding my recent order and the subsequent interaction with the a manager.
My original order was:
Chicken Bacon Ranch Sandwich
Broccoli Cheddar Soup
Chips (as the side)
Upon receiving my order, I found it was incorrect. Instead of the Broccoli Cheddar soup and chips, I was given Chicken Noodle Soup and a piece of bread.
When I brought this to the attention of the manager, she did replace the incorrect soup with the Broccoli Cheddar. However, the service during this exchange was unacceptable. She dropped the corrected soup roughly three inches onto the tray in front of me and immediately walked away without addressing the second issue (the missing chips) or providing any apology for the incorrect order or the disrespectful manner.
I left the store having received a piece of bread instead of the chips I had paid for, and feeling completely disregarded as a customer. I believe this level of service, particularly from a manager, is poor and does not meet basic customer service standards.
