Ordered today via the app. We had some credits from the last time we ordered where it was delivered missing items with low quality.
Today was ON POINT! It was fresh and the soup was still pretty darn warm. All of our special requests were honored.
The cookies were fresh and very flavorful.
Delivery via Ashley was handled carefully and promptly.
Panera is crazy expensive ordering delivery, but, sometimes it’s absolutely worth it.

My favorite place to go for breakfast, Their Ciabatta Sausage Egg and cheese sandwich is so yummy and with a cup of Panera coffee, absolute perfection. The bread truly makes the sandwich.

I want to give a big shoutout to the Panera Bread in Dover, Delaware! The food here is always amazing — I’ve ordered from this location many times, and it never disappoints. But today (October 3, 2025), we came 2 hours before closing and the food was especially outstanding.
My salad was fresh, full of ingredients, and actually tasted like a truly delicious salad. I’ve tried the same salad at many other places, including in Rehoboth Beach, and none of them compare to how good it is here in Dover. I think they make it with love . We also ordered a sandwich, and it was just as excellent.
A big thank you to the chef in the kitchen today — I told him personally how much I appreciated the food. I didn’t get the chance to see the manager, but I want to say thank you to them as well. The whole team is doing an incredible job. The restaurant was very clean, and everyone was so polite and helpful.

Went thru drive thru, slow service, shorted on my change, Harvest Medley salad was awful! Salad was small portion and not a single mandarin orange in it. The only thing good was Broccoli cheese soup.

Had dinner with my Mom and it was good, but not I usually get from there. It was about 6pm and the soup was lukewarm, bread was a bit hard, and the lettuce was old because it didn’t have the crunch it usually has. The flavors were all there and we were served quick. The place was not busy at all so I’m not sure the food was below standard. I would have given more stars but the quality wasn’t there. Hopefully if I return it will be better or I can visit the new one in Middletown.

I wish I could say better but this place has staffing issues. Very unfriendly and gave us the impression he did NOT want to be there. Other Panera places are well staffed but not Dover Delaware.

Not bad food no real complaints about that but the ordering process sucks! Looong lines at these touch screens as soon as you walk in the door. So long you could barely even get in the door. Odd inconvenient ordering style. Then condiments area was messy, trashy and no lids for cups. Took employee time to even acknowledge me as he was too busy chatting with another employee and it was nothing relating to customer service/job talk. Okay restaurant but after this visit, I don’t recommend this location poor customer service, odd layout and a little dirty for me to be putting my dollars to. Inconvenience all around.

I don’t often order at this location so this may not be a common occurrence but today I swung by the drive thru and ordered an apple Fuji salad and soup, the service was great and quick but when I got home and started eating my salad I notice some pieces wilted, as I dug further in I noticed pretty much all of the iceberg lettuce in the salad was brown. Digging in even further there was a big chunk of it that just looked rotten so I included a pic of that. Needless to say I couldn’t eat the salad and I’m not going to take the time to go out and drive back there for a refund, just really disappointed that they don’t seem to have a quality check in place.
