I really like the ordering kiosks so you don’t have to stand in line. Their smoothies seem more smooth, maybe made with puree, instead of on the icier side. Delicious! Chili was a little spicy, but my grandma has a low spice tolerance and ate it just fine. Would not really recommend the fruit cups, it didn’t seem very fresh and the melon was hard. Overall everything was good.

No complaints with the food the few times I have been here. Customer service could be improved a bit however. Nothing major but it’s not the most welcoming or helpful when waiting on your order

Placed an order for pick up. Quoted 10 minutes. Get there and at the 15 minute mark see two female employees yapping while one girl left to prep food on her own. Then I noticed two sandwiches very similar to what I ordered still sitting in front of the ovens unwrapped. Asked about the status of my order and got told they’re waiting for my salad. Saw the bigger chick about to bag up those sandwiches and asked if they were mine and she said yes. Finally asked for a manager and got nothing but attitude. Had to wait another 10 minutes for all food to be remade then said manager got mad when I demanded a refund. If you don’t like the job you’re getting paid to do, go somewhere else! I work too hard for my $$$ to be made to feel like i am an inconvenience for expecting hot food and prompt service. Y’all nasty and dirty! Then got spiteful and couldn’t even be bothered to label a dang sandwich. Made my husband late to work waiting on his food.

I came to this location a few times. Staff was always very friendly. My kiddo was sick so I tried delivery for the 1st time. The driver joe was able to txt me to let me know he did knock awhile and nobody answered and wanted to let me know where he put it. I felt bad because I wanted to hand him a tip but my kid was sick and I missed him. He went above and beyond and responded back with get well wishes for her. I love this location 🙂

Seriously the best customer service I’ve had recently. Manager Ethan and front counter Derek were SOOOOO KIND to me. I think I must have screwed up our family’s online order, and they were VERY GRACIOUS and took care of me. I never felt like they were upset, when it must have been an issue on my end putting out through online. THANK YOU

Failed health inspection on 26Nov2025 Panera Bread #833, 1178 Mae St. Hummelstown, Follow-up, November 14. Fail. The Person in charge did not demonstrate adequate knowledge of food safety in this food facility, as evidenced by this non-compliant inspection. Observed three large plastic storage ingredient containers (oats, sesame, grains), in the bakery area, is not labeled with the common name of the food. Label on the containers is not legible. Food employees observed in area, not wearing proper hair restraints, such as beard covers. Discussed with employee and corrected on site. Observed a large rolling tan cart, which was broken and in need of replacement. Broken equipment is not easily cleanable. A broken small souffle cup lid holder on the main line observed broken/cracked and in need of replacement. Observed four cases of single-service, single-use articles stored in bakery area and dry storage area directly on the floor, and not 6 inches above the floor. Some, not all corrected on site. Non-food contact surfaces not cleaned at a frequency to preclude accumulation of dirt and soil: Handles on all of the bain marie cooling units in the front and back of the facility in need of cleaning. The top of the dish machine with dried food debris with the possibility to contaminate clean dishes below. Corrected on site. The stainless legs of the two Turbo Chef countertop ovens with accumulation of dried black food debris on the legs and stainless bars and in need of cleaning. Exterior of black rolling ice Cambro with build-up of food debris with the possibility to contaminate gloved hands touching the lid/top of the equipment. Also observed a sesame seed (known allergen) on top of this ice Cambro at this visit. Venting on equipment on the mainline with a build-up of static dust and in need of cleaning. Observed the following on food contact surfaces: Total Bakery area with too-numerous-to-count utensils (scoops, spoons, knives) stored dirty and clean utensils/equipment stored on dirty green hanging racks coming in contact with equipment. Green shelving above the three-bay sink area with dried food debris coming in contact with containers stored on this shelving. Numerous stainless containers stored on the green shelving over the three-bay sink area stored dirty with clean equipment stacked on top of dirty equipment. Ice bucket stored directly on the ledge of the ice machine coming in contact with the ice bucket opening. Corrected on site. Ice bucket with red food splatter on the bucket and not clean to sight or touch. Corrected on site. Numerous ladles stored dirty hanging to the left of the dish machine stored with heavy staining in not clean to sight or touch. Corrected on site. Plastic bins (12) on the assembly/cook line with utensils stored dirty and coming in contact with accumulation of food debris on the interiors of the containers. Corrected on site. A hand-held manual can opener stored in a container with pliers and pens, adding contamination to the equipment. Corrected on site. Food containers inside of the bain marie cooling units are not being changed out daily, including racking being cleaned daily. Eight (8) stainless bowls stored for salad mixing on shelving above the salad refrigerated unit, accumulation of food debris on the shelving and not cleaned the night before. Pulling bowls out dragging food debris and spilling on to bowls below. The trough and underside of the self-serve soda dispenser, including ice chute, with a pink slime mold-like substance in the trough and heavy accumulation of mold-like substance on underside dispensers and surrounding area, including interior and behind ice chute. Bottom interior of salad (cold-hold) bin on the main line with dried lettuce from the night before and not removed for cleaning. Observed clean food equipment and utensils at the three-bay sink area, stored wet in a manner that does not allow for draining and/or air drying (wet nesting).

Simple order; bagel with cream cheese and bacon. It’s not in their system so the counter person had to “create” the order….(any deli knows how to make this ) it’s not rocket science… so after three dozen taps on the screen the price comes up 7$ plus change

I pick up my order and it is a lousy bagel that any real deli would trash with three 1/4 At best slices of bacon and a little container of cream cheese on the side. Then to top off the terrible order they arbitrarily added a ultra thin piece of egg I didn’t order.

After managing to find a clean table, I ordered a poppy seed salad with chicken. In addition to the fruit looking like it was scraped from the bottom of a bucket, I had to peel the quite literally frozen chicken slices apart. The thawing resulted in a chicken water flavored salad. Would not recommend.

Years ago, there was a commercial that asked, ” Where’s the beef?” Well, in this case,”Where’s the turkey and chicken?” I saw my husband looking inside his sandwich and I asked what was wrong. He said there was barely any chicken. I opened mine and there was literally one thin slice of circular turkey. So basically pressed turkey. The one slice was folded in half, I guess to make it look bigger! The slice of cheese was actually thicker than the turkey! (See photos) I’ve heard of cutbacks, but this is ridiculous. I will continue to get my sandwiches at McAlister’s Deli or Jersey Mike’s. At least their sandwiches have plenty of real, fresh meat and it isn’t just a cheese sandwich! Spend your money elsewhere!!!!!
