The food is always decent and the staff friendly but the wait during lunch time very long. More than twenty minutes.

Never again. I chose the rapid delivery option around 6:10. When placing the order, I had to keep customizing since they were out of many ingredients and chips. Arrived and was told it wouldn’t be ready until 6:50 It wasn’t ready until around 7:20!!! Waited over an HOUR for our meal. When it finally arrived it wasn’t made right. Both of the sandwiches didn’t have avocado. When I brought it up to the manager he said there was a portion size on there. When he showed me, it was a sliver of avocado about the size and thickness of a bobby pin. Had to wait for them to remake them properly. The mac and cheese was disgusting and not how it typically is. So unsure what was going on there. I’ve had poor experiences here before, but this was despicable. $43 for that?! Embarrassing. DO BETTER!

FYI. Panera bread donates bread and pastries to various organizations across the U.S. that assists Seniors. I used to pick up donations from Panera Bread and the grocery chain Ralph’s and deliver them to a Senior Center. So just know that when you buy food here. You are donating to charity every time.
Food was awesome as always. The Mexican Corn Street Chowder was a bit to salty for my taste. But very good. Their sandwiches are always fresh, as well as their salads!
Service was awesome. James in the kitchen always has a bright and good attitude. Always enhances the customer service experience. The table I wanted to sit at was dirty as someone had just finished eating at it. So I asked Cali and Kaileigh if they could give me a clean rag to wipe the table and they were right on it. Two hard workers for sure and very professional!
Atmosphere was chill. I came in close to closing time so it was quiet and relaxing!
Remember, eat Panera and donate to a Senior!!!!

Always good food, but in the 5 times I’ve been here in Fairmount I had to wash the table before eating…the rugs are filthy. Looked like they dont clean down the plate drop off either. It would make a big difference if they could simply keep the eating area clean.

Cherry Danish was way overpriced, and fell apart with every bite, flavorless. Squash soup was good, however the baguette that I got with it was cold as if it just came out of the refrigerator, unwarmed. The floor was filthy, every single table had food/ napkin/ utensil underneath it. This was at 1:00 p.m. in the middle of the week. Very disappointed.

I literally started my business here by ordering coffee and just working on my laptop. That was ten years ago and since then there has been so many changes, but Panera holds a special place in my heart. I couldn’t work from home and it gave me the ability to concentrate and get my work done. Great place with great staff, couldn’t think of a better place

If only healthy food like that served at Panera’s tasted better, we would all be thin. UPDATE-1: I ordered the Napa Almond Chicken Salad sandwich which comes on sourdough bread with a side of chips (or an apple). The almonds went very well with the chicken salad, the chicken was tender, and the bread was fresh and had the classic sourdough tang. However, I did not detect any of the promised halved red grapes, and the tomatoes were under ripe and hard even by January standards. Next time, I would ask them to omit the tomato and add sliced cucumber. UPDATE-2: I ordered a cup of tomato soup, a grilled cheese sandwich with a spicy salsa, and a cherry Danish. The soup was okay once it was salted, and I enjoyed the croutons. However, the grilled cheese sandwich was misnamed. It should be called a melted cheese sandwich. I would like to know how they melted the cheese without toasting the bread on a grill. My guess is that the bread was very lightly toasted in a toaster, the cheese was added, and then melted in a microwave. There is no evidence of any butter having been spread on the bread which you would normally expect if it had actually been grilled. I discussed the state of my sandwich with the manager. He said next time ask for it extra toasted as if the current state of my sandwich represented a normal toast. I asked him if he could put my sandwich on a grill to further toast it. He said no, but he could make a new one for me if I wished. I didn’t want to be responsible for the waist of food, so I declined his kind offer. The other thing that went wrong was that I didn’t receive the cherry Danish that I ordered and paid for. This was quickly remedied by the fellow who had taken my order when I brought the omission to his attention.

I ordered online and they messed my order up completely I spent 75$ and they only credited 25$ when they forgot an entire meal, my drink came wrong and my smoothie came opened. Literally just wasted 75$ on nothing.

I stopped at Panera Bread at Wolf Rd in Albany and had such a good experience I thought I would go back to the one here in Fairmount. It was NOT the same experience. My portion sizes were considerably smaller and my bread did not seem fresh. Maybe the one at Wolf Rd. Albany was fresh out of the oven and the warmth made it more enjoyable.
