Panera is back with some really good sandwiches . Panera used to have some good sour dough sandwiches 4-5 years back and they suddenly stopped it . They are now back with some amazing sandwiches after 3-4 years ! I just loved it .
Nice location. Right on rt 1 and close to many different shops/restaurants . Parking is good . Lots of parking spots . Lots and lots of space inside to sit and eat . Huge place . Ordering was easy and quick . They made the sandwich in 12-15 mins .. nice service .
I had toasted garden caprese sandwich . There was an option of half and full , and I ordered full . Full was like half 🙂 wish their portions are a bit bigger . Tasted so good though. Just a few veggie options. Wish they had few more options for vegetarians . Food was good .. liked it overall. 4 stars . ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I ordered through the drive up, Viviana was extremely nice and attentive and kept me in communication about the wait time since they were shortstaffed. I really appreciated her service and communication skills. Her professionalism made all the difference with the wait time!

Awful experience two days in a row-40min wait on the drive through on Sunday, January 11th, 2026. As an apology for the long wait time, I was given “ We are sorry, we want to make it right” coupon for a free “ You pick 2 meal”. On the next day, I decided to use the free meal coupon and the so called “manager” said that I can’t use it because the coupon has expired. I asked her to give the coupon back to me but she wouldn’t. At this point my order was still not ready, but she was asking me to pay. I told her that the coupon was provided to me the previous day and cannot be expired, but she kept insisting that I pay, saying that she can’t use the apology coupon. She disappeared from the drive-through window for about 5 minutes and when she came back her name badge was removed. I wanted to get her name as this was quickly turning into the worst experience. I asked for her name and she responded “ I don’t know my name”. I remained calm and was already recording the conversation with my phone. The woman with the blonde/ light purple hair either lied about being the manager, or if she really is the manager, she should be removed from that capacity and fired , because she has no idea about customer service. I paid for my order and asked the other employee who came to the window, an Asian lady for the name of her manager. She also responded that she doesn’t know and she has to find out. At this point this was beyond ridiculous. Do they really think that no one will figure the names of the people working on the evening shift on January 12th, 2026? These people not only lie in your face but are rude and incredibly unprofessional. I demand that Panera Bread fire the so called “manager”‘and the Asian drive-through employee who also happens to forget the name of her supervisor. I have been a loyal customer of Panera Bread for over 20 years and I have never been treated with such disrespect!

I come here all the time for a wonderful cozy spot to sit and get some work done. The staff is usually polite and the place is kept clean. Steven is a panera team member I’ve seen whenever I come and he’s always super nice and welcoming which makes the experience better.

I had a wonderful experience this afternoon.
I had to get something to eat and get some work done. So I stopped in.
Patrick, the associate who handled my order went above and beyond to make sure I properly got my order.
I would definitely reccomend stopping by for lunch or a study session if you’re in the area!

It would have been better if they remembered to put th “chicken” on my “chicken” sandwich. And gave me the dressing on the side. It was a to go order, I guess at this Panera you need to physically open your sandwich to make sure everything, including the chicken is on it. I have been to many Panera cafe’s and never had this issue. I usually don’t visit this one in Princeton on rt. 1. Doughbtful I will go back to this one. Otherwise I am a fan of Panera Bread.

Update 2/22: not sure what’s happened here (staff burnout? ), but the quality has dropped significantly. I attached photos of my latest meal I ordered. I have to note visually check all my to go orders. Got a tuna sandwich, only thing there was no tuna -_-, they smeared a bit on top of the bread, but it’s void in the sandwich. 4 ppl behind the counter, and not one person caught anything. I like to give bento m benefit of the doubt, ordered again that evening, simple pizza, this had a total of 4 tomatoes in it. Like the other reviewers, I tried to call and can’t get hold of anyone.
12/21: I have to start taking photos of my food . Everything I have ordered always tastes and looks incredibly fresh. One of my favorite go to’s, wish I started going their earlier. Customer service is fantastic, and they are severely understaffed, and still handle everyone with a smile. Thank you guys and hope everyone continues to stay safe!!

I ordered a you pick two Through the drive-through. The sandwich I ordered was Good but the southwest chicken ranch salad wasn’t. They didn’t have any soft avocados Apparently, so they threw in some rock hard avocados that wasn’t ready yet. I would have rather them told me that they didn’t have that salad then for them to add avocados that wasn’t ready yet. That was very disappointing.

They made a mistake with my order — I asked for a veg cold sandwich, but they gave me a chicken one. When I called them back, they told me they would give me a replacement sandwich for free on my next visit.
Now the manager, Darius — who wasn’t even there that day — keeps contradicting himself. He claims he’s the only manager, yet his statements don’t match what was said earlier. On top of that, he is extremely rude, which makes the whole experience even worse.
This feels dishonest. They are intentionally messing up orders and refusing to give either a refund or the promised replacement sandwich. They even assured me over the phone that the sandwich would be provided. I strongly advise not going there at all.
